So good, but notice where the markers are standing?
And yet Mitchell still made the SOO side?

How f**king close.
From the penthouse to the outhouse in a millisecond.
What is the rule there, he seemed to have the back of his hand on the ball?

If the ball comes lose you must regather with both hands (take control of the ball) to score the try, downward pressure alone is not good enough is the way I understand it. It’s a rubbish rule.

I started watching the replay but I stopped, we had so many bad calls against us in the first half, TBH, it was a good effort to only be behind by 6.
No possession, no field position and a dud ref.

Was at the game, just watched the highlights. That first try is worst ruling I’ve seen this year. Arrow playing the ball literally grabs seyfarths legs and pulls him onto the ground. Havlli then scoots through the gap created, at no stage do you see the ball down. The referee was on the other side of the ruck and completely unsighted as to whether or not he gets it down, but awards a try anyway. Video ref than says they go with the infield ruling as they can’t see the ball get grounded.

absolutely baffling, but what we’re used too as tigers fans.

this isn’t even going into Latrell not being sin binned after interfering with the play the ball after a 40m line break, it’s the ruled a sin bin every single time. Can’t upset the poster boy, he might have a cry.

Hey Vic,
The club issued a statement (on the club site) about an incident at the game, but didn't mention what it was, did you notice anything?
Cheers

hey mate I didn’t see anything. I was in the grandstand and in the second half could see a heap of police cars with their lights on outside the stadium, however assumed it was just traffic control.

I asked a mate who was neared to it and apparently a group of souths fans wandered into a wests supporting bay and started saying shit. A fight broke out, police came and one of the cops got beaten up pretty badly.

Plenty of them, when Sullivan tackled Hunt and dislodged the ball five metres out he was never on side, in the first half we had a player binned for exactly the same thing, Hunt probably scores if Bud doesn’t get in the way, yet he gets to stay on the field and poke his tongue out 😂

Duncan holding back Bula then in the next play walking through the middle of the ruck when we are hot on the attack, penalty given but no bin. It was ridiculous. I’ve got no drama with Galvin being binned for that offside play but it needed to go both ways

A bit more detail, sounds like a wild incident.

The winger was called out if it...you can see him throw his hands up and Api instantly took that as his cue ...he's so quick between the ears. He reminds me a lot of Elias
I liked the “nothing to the right nothing to the left, ok I’ll score the try” from Api..The fake kick and fake left step manoeuvre was intricate ..prob minimal thought involved, just worked it out on the run..

They probably watched 5 mins of footy and 75min of sledging. Losers.
How are we supposed to sell that to mum, dad and the 2 kids.

It's always hard with hypotheticals, but do you think Latu would have scored this ?

We may have been leading prior to this missed opportunity if Latu was playing instead of the over hyped little wanka Galvin. The more I watch Isaac Moses’s precious little pet the more I laugh at the rejection of our ridiculously unjustified contract offer.
IMO, I think Galvin will make it in FG, and maybe it's the second year syndrome, but he has to change his game plan, running sideways nearly every time he gets the ball, lets the defence generally know what he is going to do, which is an occasional great play, but generally not much.
And with Luai doing similar, our attack is suffering, where with Latu, he does straighten it up and would suit either player, but I would stick with Luai a million times over Galvin now, for his leadership alone.

Luai’s CV is a pipedream for 99.9% of players. He needs to be our dominant half steering the team around the park & Latu with his speed & strong running game provides the perfect foil for JL.Put 13 on Galvins back & make the little prick earn his money playing in the forwards.
