The journos (what do they know) are now saying the dogs are the favourites?
They are throwin darts at an invisible dart board.
The Eels are owned by the Parramatta Leagues Club who generate more income that the Dogs so I suspect that they will pay a transfer fee and could offer LG's super contract next year after they lose to Brown. Do they have the roster space or do they give us a swap plus transfer fee to accommodate this to happen now? Does anyone?

I think what guts us the most is we had high expectations for this year after a few quality players joined us. Just after a reasonable start to the season with some gritty wins LG's manager dumps this on us.
If it was me, and I say this honestly, I would have said that I'd rather just stick to footy and help the Tigers into the 8.
If Richo kept pressuring me, I would have said the same thing over and over.
I certainly would not have attacked my coach or allowed my manager to.
All that could have come out at season's end.

The transfer fee is off the cap and should more aptly be called compensation.

Parra have a stack of cap room as Brown is already on a pretty penny (about $800k as per a few parra supporter mates) and lost RCG, and Gutherson last year, who they haven't really been replaced.

As far as the dogs go, I can't see how they'd have any cap room. The players they've bought in the last 3 years would have been at overs, as when they started re-building they were just as shit as we have been the last 3 years. However, Laundy and his pub empire would have unlimited resources. I'd say his income from all his pubs would be just as much, or more, than what parra leagues takes in.

No, I think you'll find transfer fees are not included in the cap.
I was saying Eels will have space next year, hence a swap to get it done now.

Don'y know how true this is?
He hasn't met the expectations of his overseas reputation but the knights halves are a debacle. They chop and change. When gamble isn't the answer they bring poor Kaylan into the ⅝ and now in the last game they bring gamble back in.
I'd have to see what side he plays because if it's rightside, we could have him there and Fianu on the left. Latu and Jarome would have great options.

I just posted this on the rumours thread, I so hope it's not the slimes.
This was last night though and at that stage there was nothing substantial coming out of the tigers meeting other than we are considering an immediate release with conditions. Also, the dogs coach Ciraldo looked very awkward when asked if the dogs are entertaining the recruitment of LG, so it still can have merit Tm.

I don't care where he goes, I just don't want it to be the slimes now.

Moses and Galvin would work because Moses plays more direct giving Galvin more space.
It's why it's not working here because both Luai and Galvin want to play in the same fashion.

I think Moses will tear him a new one, he is the most unforgiving player, if it is making him look bad.

I listened to an interview with Arthur Laundy, he said he was a Tigers fan from when he was a kid, then a few years ago one of his sons suggested sponsoring the Doggies, and now he is all-in on his support for them.
