I don’t think anyone here wants him gone but there would be a silver lining if he left in that we’d have a heap of cap space all of a sudden and we’ve already got a very good replacement that could take his spot at fullback.
That’s every half in the comp though to be fair. Look how quickly the next immortal Cleary wilts when he’s not on the end of 70 metre attacking sets courtesy of Penrith’s back 3. Other than Andrew Johns I’ve never seen a half dominate behind a poor forward pack.
He has all of the talent in the world. I’m not sure he knows how to use it, and use the players around him for the team to benefit from it.

Absolutely. Smith has had a few decent games but has been mostly average overall. Savala has looked like a FG halfback from his first game onwards. Has a great boot too.
Savala is good but Sandon has done far more for the Roosters form of late than Hugo. Plus hes an 85+% goal kicker
