Galvin v the Tigers

A snippet was mentioned on the 2MMM this morning that its a contractual stipulation for Galvin that he can't talk publicly about his signing with the Bulldogs. It wasn't stated whether this was tied to his Bulldogs contract, or his contract release from the Wests Tigers.

Don't give away state secrets like what order Benji puts the cones out at training, or that Jerome Luai is more of a shit merkin that we give him credit for

I dare say the one who may be the link for the Bulldogs to Galvin, as I mentioned up thread, is its assistant Coach Luke Vella. I mentioned up thread that he is close to Galvin.

One of the reasons they are close, which I didn't know about until it was reported in the SMH today, is that when Galvin was playing at Westfield Sports High, Luke Vella was his coach.

Add in the bye round and Origin to get the reporters distracted. What should they cover? Everyone is talking about the evil Gus Gould and less about Galvin.

Papers will report what sells and Gould is a click-bait magnet.
Yep i will say though last night at the club watching origin was talking to a few friends.

One is a Manly and the other a souths fan.

And there opinion is they want Galvin to fail. Because he comes across as a brash young kid who has walked out on the Tigers thinking he knows everything.

Gus might be diverting the attention atm.

But I reckon this saga will live with Galvin's reputation similar to DCE when he backflipped on the Titans.

It took years for DCE to rebuild his image around the game and some may argue it has never repaired from that backflip.

I suspect Galvin's will be similar the Rugby League public ain't fools and I think this saga will follow him for the rest of his career.

Really comes down to Galvin realising the potential Gus says he has. A lot of pressure for a young bloke to handle. Cause plenty will be willing him to fail. Hopefully the Dogs system is as good as it looks.

South Sydney supporters the same supporters who loved every moment of their club enticing Greg Inglis to flip on Brisbane?
