That’s why I said it’s a good result. The trend is very much still upwards for women’s origin, can’t expect every year to be a record. Takes time to build these things and developed narratives and storyline’s around the game.

Sure, if we'd poured hundreds of millions of dollars into Perth for 40 years and claimed to be taking over pathetic for the fumblers at a time when QLD RL teams are all going fairly poorly too

That and the miserable weather would have put people off from watching the game on telly as well.
The NRL ought to shift the Women`s SOO around to where ever they are having a drought because it sure does seem to bring the rain with it!
