The new Metro West can’t come soon enough to Accor, to keep the big crowds coming and getting them in and out better.
Transport is so frustrating to Accor, you can see the stadium from the train on the northern line.. then you have to go past it and get 2 train connections to work your way back to it...adds an extra hour to the trip

So we know that Doggies-Souths draws on Good Friday and Doggies-Parra draws on the King's Birthday. Are there any other tentpole fixtures to build the Sydney season around? Is there scope for further games at Homebush on the Easter weekend and make the most of the Royal Easter Show nextdoor?

The requests include:

Eora Round: Indigenous round concept featuring the Roosters v Bulldogs, Rabbitohs v
Eels and Tigers v Dragons played over three consecutive days at Allianz Stadium
Panthers v Bulldogs on a long weekend at CommBank Stadium
Anzac Day: Knights v Cowboys alternating years to celebrate the military presence in
both cities
Anzac Day eve match at Allianz Stadum between Rabbitohs and Manly
Dragons v Raiders on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon at WIN Stadium
Eels v Bulldogs annually round one at CommBank Stadium
Bulldogs v Dragons during multicultural round on a Sunday at Accor Stadium

Canberra should get a game on Anzac Day or the night before. Nations capital and all that. That would sell out.

Maybe attendees on rainy days could carry and wear some appendages that stop the rain from landing on their bodies?. Maybe rain coats, umbrellas, clothing. That sort of thing.
I think comments like yours highlight the crucial difference between die-hard supporters and the casual fans the NRL needs for further growth.

The die-hards will always turn up, rain or shine - that's the people on this forum. You're preaching to the converted. But the game's future depends on winning over families and casual attendees. For them, the choice isn't between "wearing a coat" or "not wearing a coat"—it's between "sitting in the cold and rain for 2+ hours" or "staying comfortable at home." That’s an easy decision.

The real solution isn't criticising people's choices. It's improving the fan experience so that bad weather isn't a deal-breaker. More cover at our stadiums, better facilities, transport and son - is what will actually fix the problem.

Can’t see it boosting their crowds tbh as only around 10k sharks fans can be @rsed to attend sharky parky as it is and that’s when they’re flying as well.
Sharks should be able to have at least 2 games per season at the new SFS that get more than 15,000

You wonder how big Manly would be if they had a bigger ground, what is 4 Pines capacity, like 18k?
They seems to be around 16-17k most years.

Sharkies, you own your own ground, rent it out to Sydney FC when they are expecting a lower crowd from interstate clubs.

Move most of your game esp inter sydney games to the new sfs and play lower out of town teams in Cronulla. Please. Same could almost be said of Manly. Take a few big rivalries to the sfs.
Exactly. Just play smaller drawing games at Shark Park like:
v Dolphins,
v Broncos,
v Storm,
v Penrith.

Absolutely. Feels like at Kogarah there is more dogs fans than dragons these days. But events bring out crowds and turning it into an event may mean you get another 45k game.
If we can pick up some form then yes.

But the clubs are trying to do it anyway, just not on a holiday. They have an agreement to gate share. Started this year I think? Anyway next year it steps up a bit with Dogs home game at Vegas, Saints home game at SFS.

A little late to the party but all in all what a good weekend for crowds considering the cold snap across NSW/ACT/Vic

59,878 is the second-highest all-time, and we're upset we didn't get a few more? I think it's incredible!

Pre-COVID this would have been cause for massive celebration. Rugby league is flying!

Doggies vs Wahs should draw well and is rightly on everyone's radar.

Doggies vs Manly is a fun retro round at Allianz and should sell out (sans Members in L4W).

Doggies vs Sharks could be a sleeper for a huge crowd if the Minor Premiership is in play.

Elsewhere...

Roosters vs Doggies at Allianz for the inaugural Gadhu Gathering should get 30k+

Rabbitohs vs Eels at Allianz for the inaugural Gahdu Gathering could also clock 30k+ if South Sydney markets it as the club's "chance" to prove it should move back to Moore Park

Roosters vs Rabbitohs at Allianz should also draw 30k+ in the last round of the year.
The two roosters ones will be 35k+ if we maintain some form
