Thats just it though. If he was so keen to go to Qld, why would he want to add another year to his deal here? Like I said, the true story has yet to emerge, anything now is purely speculative.
You havent read my answer, the offer came BEFORE the qld offer,BEFORE, reynolds would of thought he won the lottery, selling his house and moving ,never to come back to sydney

Oh I did read your answer. I just think that the actual facts have yet to emerge. Lots of conflicting stories out there, you can easily find one to support any way you want to frame it.

There was nothing wrong with letting Reynolds go. Souths made him an offer but Broncos made him a better offer

If Reynolds were playing behind Souths hopeless forward pack this season everyone would be calling for him to retire. Reynolds has been playing with a team of much better athletes at the Broncos but has still failed to win a comp in 3 years there

Cody should retire his body is no longer up to NRL

Latrell has been playing more a No 6 role this season than a No 1 so the obvious combination for Souths to try is Gray at 1 and Latrell at 6
Souths made him an offer yes but an insulting one.

Our demise wouldn’t have been as steep if he was here

From one of his close mates it was always reynolds intention to move to qld permanently, so unlike sutto who signed 3x 1year deals and could have moved but stayed, reynolds snapped the chance and left, showing no regard for the club, during the last 3 years of his deal he winged about various injurys his back his neck etc etc and missed quite alot of training, which is why the club thought he couldnt go the distance, so he contributed to managments thinking of him.
Now obviously when he likes the money hes the oposite at the donkeys. So he screwed us and i consider him a traitor and stuff him
Sutto started one year deals at 33 not at age 30 like Reyno you can’t compare

You've only got to look at the Broncos last game to see the impact Reyno has on a team. Brisbane have been below par this year but the whole team fired up and played their best game to ensure they won for Reyno on his 300th game. It should have been us getting the win for him on his 300th just like it should be our fans getting to let out a mighty roar when he breaks the pointscoring record. If only our club was smart enough to realise that Ilias was not a worthy replacement they would have done all they could to keep Reyno here where he belongs.

We have so far lost all 6 games against teams equal 6th or higher on the ladder

“DOUBLE TROUBLE The Rabbitohs have won just two of their past eight games and could slip to 15th this week with a loss and a Newcastle
win over the Roosters. It's not a good week then to be playing the
table-topping
Bulldogs. Souths have lost all six games they have played against teams currently sixth and above on the ladder, the equal worst record
shared with the Titans. It's also not a good week for Cody Walker (pictured) to be
missing due to injury. With Latrell Mitchell on Origin duty, the Rabbitohs will play without both big attacking weapons for just the seventh time since Mitchell
joined the Bunnies in 2020. They have won just one of the six previous games without
the duo. The Bulldogs are also missing their key attacking weapons in Stephen Crichton and Matt Burton but the only other time this has occurred since both joined the club the Dogs smashed the Knights last season. A win will keep the Bulldogs on top of the table for a l2th consecutive week, something they have not
achieved since 1984.”

I don't believe we should sign Cody to a two-year deal. It feels like he's constantly injured, even if it is only for a game or two at a time - it adds up.
The Fifita - Arrow swap - I agree, I'd happily have Fifita, but not for one of our forwards who is mostly playing well. But you'd obviously not be able to fit both of them.
The Reyno situation - we should've offered him two years straight up, not as a second offer. I agree three might've been a stretch at the time, but hindsight is wonderful.

Campbell Graham out. Ryan Gray family all at captains run I’d say might be a late inclusion despite Wayne denying it to the media.

So we are missing our 1, 6, 9, 13 and best centre need a miracle to beat them tomorrow

Definitely going to be tough with all these outs. If we do manage to somehow win it will be one for the ages. Hopefully we can keep it close and not let our points differential blow out.

Well here we are Game Day is just about upon us and it sure does not get any easier. We take on the 1st placed Dogs tomorrow afternoon out at Accor Stadium in what is now a crucial game for us. We are right up against it there is no doubt about that. The Dogs and how they’re going has been one of the biggest stories of the season. They’re sort of playing a similar style to what the Panthers have been the last 4 years. They just get into the grind kick to the corners do it well. They just suffocate you give you nothing force a couple of cheap errors and pounce. They just wear you down and down. Most games this year too they’ve only leaked 10-12 points. They’re just so clinical and work very hard for one another. I think they’re 10 and 2 so that speaks for itself. And havent their supporters been out in full force. I’m expecting that to be no different tomorrow whilst it’s our home game it’ll be a hostile environment and we will be outnumbered. But you know what our members and fans have been saying for years we don’t get day games well here we are what better opportunity than to get off your backsides and get out there tomorrow right behind our lads. So we come into this 6 and 7. After starting the season 4 and 1 we now find ourselves 6 and 7. So we have lost 6 of our last 8 games. We have had a horrendous injury crisis again like last year in fact it might even be worse this year. Get 1 or 2 back and we lose 3 or 4 more. Losing Cody and Stretch now really hurts us again. But we still have plenty of quality in the side and I expect a much better effort tomrrow after losing 36-12 in Canberra last week. The Dogs are coming off a 30-12 win against Parra. I thought Parra played well too it’s just the Dogs were so clinical.

Looking at the Dogs they are missing a few to origin and a couple to injury but they still have very good depth and it’s a very strong side. Tracey has been phenomenal from the back and they have Kiraz and Xerri who are in great form in the backs and they can create something out of nothing they have speed and skill and keep asking questions. Montoya on the wing has been a very good guy too for them. Then you look at the halves they can still trot out in Sexton and Galvin and they will both pose plenty of questions both very good players. We need to try to put some pressure on these 2 where we can if we stand back they’ll pull our pants down. Then you look at their edges and they get Preston back which is a massive boost and Kikau has been in fine form as well. Duncan and Aitken are gonna have to be right on their games to shut these 2 down. Then in the middle Curran, Hayward, Hayes will keep asking questions as well they just get through their work. Hayes has been a stand out off that bench. And I must say DSF in short stints has been going well for them too. But it’s their back 5 similar to the Panthers model that jist make so many metres and they do it so well. Looking at us losing Trell to origin we all knew that would happen. What makes it hard is basically besides Humphreys we have our whole spine out 1, 6, 9 and 13 so that makes it tough. What we need to do is show enthusiasm complete our sets highly show good line speed in defence. The game is 80mins Souths we can’t afford to clock off we need to dig deep. Get our kick chase on as well and get down there. Those effort areas we need to be good at. I feel like we say it every week but we have to limit those offloads as best we can and please don’t concede soft tries either side of half time. Our back 5 need to lift. We know Jye will run all day but we need Wighton to lift big time I feel. Hopefully with the C next to his name he can do that. Tassy needs to lift too he’s been off the last two weeks we know you’re better than that Tassy so lift. I want to see Sullivan and Humphreys as well back themselves in attack run at the line and play short etc when you can play out the back as well and link up together at times. We need them to be more creative. Jye will pop up on both edges too but he can’t do it all on his own. We also need our bench to do much better this week cmon lads lift. I expect Ryan Gray to debut as well off the bench so good luck and do us proud mate. We also need to try our best to not give the ref reasons to penalise us as well so show some discipline Souths. We need to want this lads come out and dig deep we need this win boys. It’s gonna take a miracle it would be a famous one if we could.

Ok not long til the players run out here onto Accor Stadium this Sunday afternoon.
