that’s the thing that worries me about our “lol our halves just run” plan. Need a game manager from 9. Peen is not that. It would work with an Api or Grant. Do they rate Matt Arthur as a game manager?
Didn’t Arthur play 7 in lower grades at eels?

Man the Phins are going to destroy us next week. They’re playing so well.

It confuses me why people are so against even giving POS a chance here considering what he’s been able to do.

We always aim up against them. Our defensive structures have been sound all year. It will be problematic for them. This year we are forcing many errors by making sides move the ball early to get to our edges. Something the Phins do habitually anyway. The Dolphins form is a credit to Woolfey.

It's looking like it's going to be a wet game next weekend. Going to be raining pretty much every day over here for this coming week, including Origin. Might only be a few showers on those days, mind you, but if it's wet weather football, it might cause Dolphins to not be so quick to spread the ball around.

Ponga playing shocking for the Maroons tonight.
No idea why he was picked (nor Cleary), its clear he's not 100%.

I think a huge part of why hes been so ineffective this year is hes been unwilling to dig into the line to draw defenders then pass because its when hes most vulnerable to getting smashed. He will either take the run or pass way too early. Protecting his ribs.

Not sure we can blame the injuries tonight. He’s actively coming up and defending in the line and leaving their in goal vulnerable.

Ponga is past it, the injuries only excuse his form so much.

He's lost his pace and his agility is also way down. At this point I'd be happy to let him walk and I've been one of his biggest defenders here

That would be wild if true considering he only just turned 27 a couple of months ago.

Either way, physical or mental he’s hugely down on confidence and form. Crazy to think we might be in a situation where we might need to push him out rather than be desperate to hold onto him.
