2021 series they won with him and Luai by huge margins in games 1 and 2 and lost the 3rd game with Wighton and Moses. There you go.
Nah that was all Trell and Tommy.

Nathan is the best half in the sport and he's probably played at 6.5/10 of his potential over his Origin career. The hate he cops is deranged jealousy.

Joey and Matty are having a bit of a brotherly competition of who is the most cooked I think. Matty reckons Cleary Jr could retire and coach the Panthers already so I think he's in the lead. Joey did say to leave Critter out of the NSW team though.
Cant argue with that, but the idea Nathan has never owned Origin is fantasy. It doesn't matter much because in 10 years Katoa is looking likely to be the GOAT 7 anyway.

So 2 of the 3 best players in the sport (Cleary and Haas) were played injured on the whim of coaches who don't pay their salaries. Its a matter of time before a club sues the NRL or the RLPA strike. How is this unprofessional shit still happening in 2025?
Excuse me. A coach.
Responsibility for that lies solely with one L Daley.

Katoa coming in would be a great story. He’s already so composed and the best ball playing half in the game by a distance. Reckon he’d kill it.

So in other words, "bugger ethics, results are all that matter". Typical scumbag view in my opinion.
Reminds me of E5 from the first season of the UK office where David Brent gathers his staff around to announce that he has good news and bad news: Bad news is Swindon is incorporating their branch and there will be staff redundancies. Good news is that David is being promoted so hooray for David Brent!

Your boy Joey begs to differ. Some of you Cleary haters need to switch off NRL360 and actually watch games and pay attention. Best Origin performance he had ever seen from a no 7 or something like that.

“For his age and what he is doing, normally you don’t control Origin games like that until you are 28, 29 or 30,” Johns told the Herald.

I didn't realise there was a big cohort of Newcastle Cleary haters because they feel like he is a threat to Johns' legacy as the best NSW halfback. Lol
It seems to be them, Roosters and Parra fans who make up most of the Nathan Naysayers. Weird thing is I haven't heard Maroons fans diss his ability at all, even the ones whose NRL team had their hearts ripped out by him in a Grand Final.

I am biased but I didn’t think the halves were terrible for the blues. Sure they both had a kick out of the full and a few wayward passes each, but in a game where the got smashed in the penalty count and the forwards didn’t dominate, they were still efficient in creating space and opportunities to score tries. 5 tries to 4 in the circumstances reflects a decent outing for a halves pairing.

Until that last 5 minutes. That was awful.

I don’t think any Knights fans think Cleary is a legitimate threat to Johns’ legacy. Most of them are just trolling lol.
