Nice work by the club with the trade being Bryan is out for rest of the year. I'd say his a step up (small one.) from Coggs and Gamble, be interesting to see if he gets a run in first grade at all.
Crossland shouldn’t be in that mix, for me he should be in the Kurt Mann bucket of ball playing middle/utlity/hooker.So, halves wise next year we have Brown, Sharpe, Cogger, Gamble and Crossland probably in that order?
If we give Arthur an extension surely Cogger or Gamble is moved on?
Is Arthur any good? Like honestly. Seems he is built like a backrower. Why is his brother so small?
Yep, club announced it last Thursday.Apparently we got Lachlan Crouch effective immediately as well
That article just says from 2026 onwards, today they announced it being effective immediatelyYep, club announced it last Thursday.

Knights sign Lachlan Crouch
The nib Newcastle Knights are pleased to welcome Lachlan Crouch back to the Hunter, signing a three-year National Rugby League contract to return home in 2026.www.newcastleknights.com.au
Someone know much about Crouch?
We talking Croker/Jones level here? Wonder why we didn't let Jacko just go then?ex-Knights junior. Used to have a handy offload I think.
World beater? Definitely not. Better than what we have? Yes. More of a FG prospect than Bryan, Glassen, Cant, etc. I suspect he would have already debuted if he was here and probably will before the end of the year.
I don't really understand why we blocked Hetherington leaving, he seems way down the pecking order and barely got a run with all our forward injuries? Was he injured himself? I forget.Matt’s got good potential. NSW u19s hooker. Whether he makes it in FG though we don’t know. I don’t rate Jake, but also he’s been in shit situations and probably slightly better than our other depth halfbacks so getting him for a few games in place of an average guy out for the season isn’t a bad play by any means. I would have been against it if it was for Hethrington given our middle depth is so poor.

Rid of Jake ArthurSo why did Manly agree to take Bryan if he’s injured anyway? What are they getting out of that trade?
Couldn’t they have done that without taking a player from us?Rid of Jake Arthur
