I likened it more to Dawson than Chamberlain on the prosecution by publicity that you stated. Not sure why you now bring up sole person of interest (other than a dingo they were all single suspects) or bodies (because Chamberlain like Dawson had no body).
I highly doubt Munchausens but more likely simply anger/depression combined with extremely poor judgement, targetting the family of her children to receive financial benefit from their estates.
She was independently wealthy and actually lent 4 or 5 members of the inlaws side of the family money. That was documented in court.

In terms of personality issues, there's also the making up having cancer aspect - to gather the in-laws (and her ex-husband, who luckily for him didn't attend) for the special ingredient lunch in the first place....

Weird human being - who seemed to not like her husband telling the tax office (8 years on) that they were separated, and didn't psychologically recover from either the symbolic and/or potential financial implications of that (even though she was wealthy). Plans set in motion and the tragic end results.

And would she now count on the list of Christian mass murderers... given she was apparently a church-attending Christian, but killed multiple people?

I agree that there were multiple lies and fumbles, however I was not convinced that they exposed the underbelly of a serial killer. I am not doubting the verdict BTW. As I said I was 50/50 when the jury convened and was merely an interested observer. Particularly how punters had already decided on her guilt/acquittal way before the trial commenced and evidence produced. There were parallels to Lindy Chamberlain in that respect.
A better comparison is Baiden Clay (obvious laughable BS stories - asian grocer and shaving cut) than Chamberlain (a total travesty of corruption).

The tour De France coverage tonight is all about how the wives of the riders are complaining about the demands of racing being too much of a drain on the family time, hahaha.
If it was a Hollywood movie the femo critics would claim that being a nagging woman cliche.

No, you missed my point entirely. The comparison between Patterson and Chamberlain by me was based on how public the case was and how it dominated the headlines for such a long time. The public, media analysts say, had a higher than nirmal interest and most had a predetermined finding in their heads without the benefit of any of the evidence other than a TLDR overview of the situation.

Many of you may not have been alive during the Chamberlain case, so I get it.

Agreed. She had a fixation with mushies and wanted to do a poisoning.

Yep. Some people are reading to much into it the reasons.
Just a fat ugly woke lefty women angry at the world who loved mushies.

The media are now interviewing anyone for clicks now. This article could very well be made up as there are no real names. I am guessing that 60 Minutes or whatever the CH7 version of that is these days will be aiming to outdo each other on the scoops. Cheque books journalism is ready*.

* Just remember that if these programs say they they "don't pay for interviews", that the truth came out in the Bruce Lehrmann defamation case where Ch7 bragged that they didn't pay BL for an interview.

They just forward paid his rent for 12 months on a $2000/w pad, plus chipped in for his groceries and hookers.
