Blues should win comfortably especially if Klein keeps his nude nut out of it. We’ve got way better middles, a better kicking game and we should target their reserve grade centres non stop.

Would be an all time 1995/2020 esqe bedshit if we don’t get up.
2020 doesn't compare to 1995. Bennett wouldn't go near that team if it was as bad as some people retroactively try to imply it was. They also had the incumbent Australian halves combination.

2000 was a worse squad than 2020, and it reflected in the results of that series.

But for Qld to win tonight (assuming Klown doesn't give them an armchair ride), either:

- At least two of Qld's impact players have to play at least 8/10 games
- At least two of the Blues' impact players have to go missing completely OR enter their best submission for the Paul Carige awards
- Qld need at least 65% of possession
- NSW players have to constantly turn over the football/ make dumb plays that kill all momentum when within striking distance

But these outcomes are definitely more unlikely than they are likely.

Yeo has run the ball much more this series but this decider now sets it up for him to ball play more in the attacking zone given the Maroons might be expecting him to run it as much as the 1st 2 games and even if they don't, they know they absolutely have to hold on him which holds up the slide and creates space out wide.

Early points and dominance out wide through the centres should set things up for NSW to be too strong. Just as long as they don't Gallen it through the middle too much and snuff out attacking opportunities.

Yeo is the best forward ive ever seen and will play however the coach tells him to.

Yeo trying to ballplay has been ineffective in Origin. He’s been one of our best since he started just running the ball. Would be silly to change that now.

Yep, Yeo’s been much better this series than the last few because all he’s done is tried to be Jake Trbojevic and not himself.

The Blues were destroyed in 1995. All the leaders from 92-94 were expelled and Gould was in court fighting Super League. Fittler’s autobiography provided some valuable insight into that series behind closed doors. 2020 lol it’s the only season I will never respect. If that year was a person you would be well within your rights to serve it a beef Wellington packed with mushrooms.

GF breakfast that year? Would explain our first half. Storm boys got the heads up and skipped it and grabbed fruit loops instead.

I wasn't feeling confident, but the number of Blues fans already claiming victory has changed my mind completely.
