I'd put Yeo in the same boat. The two of them have been absolutely dominant in club land, have built the Penrith empire... but plod along when it comes to rep footy.

Then you have guys like Mitch Moses and Cam Murray, who have been great but not as dominant in club footy, come along, step up and dominate rep matches.

Murray was a huge out, he's been injured so long my half cut brain forgot him tbh.

Can we please debunk the myth that says Nathan Cleary's a superstar worthy of equalling or bettering the likes of Andrew Johns? Cleary goes hiding as soon as he's not wearing a Panthers jersey. Maybe not hiding, but just keeps playing his style of footy, and doesn't rise. Unless it's for Penrith.

Everybody thinks Fittler is a complete imbecile but he never lost a series like that. The way he completely reversed that debacle of 2017 immediately should always be commended. He deserves more respect these days imo
I don't think he is ..I'm convinced he is an imbecile

I wont be blaming a single player tonight for NSW although there were some bad ones. Its just clear as day we need a coach strong enough to pick on form and stronge enough to play the right type of footy. Unfortunately NSW didn't have that. Daley promised to follow the blueprint and he didn't.

What gets me is that they picked him because they said he was more mature and learned from his mistakes. Did he though? It was the same old same old from when he was in charge last time. Completely blew it. He's only won 1 series in what is now 6 series. Worst record ever.

Did the NSWRL board think anyone would be good as a coach because of the players?

Get a fresh face in, get some new blood, make them more passionate to play for the Blues.

Api is arguably the best hooker in the game tbh. Egan is decent but he's the new Tampon Trent Barrett
Attacking wise yes but I dont think his style works at origin level and I'd rather reward guys who are actually playing well and winning at club level.

Api is definitely playing well this year. It's not his fault he's at the Tigers...well, I mean, I suppose it is actually.
