for example I give your Dearden

he plays origin and gets the Wally medal, yet if Mitch and Chin boy are fit at the end of the year, does Dearden play for the Kangaroos ?

I think some of these Queenslanders would rather play for Qld than the Kangaroos
Dearden has ripped Cleary a new one this series but I would say Cleary and Munster will be the halves. Dearden will be 14 like he was for Qld in game one.

I’m not sure about your last sentence. Possibly, but I feel like when you’re continuously written off by the NSW media it probably makes it easier to get the siege mentality going.

Every time this kind of result happens, and let’s be honest it’s pretty bloody regular, you get the likes of Gould saying “well you just can’t write Queensland off” etc etc. But every series they do. If it were any more circular it would be a carousel.

There’s simply more prestige in playing and winning Origin than there is anything to do with the Kangaroos if we are being honest, and that won’t change unless something drastic happens.
The Kangaroos needs to become almost Harlem globetrotter type if you ask me. The elite of the elite (I know that isn’t the GTs) just showcasing beautiful / entertainment first football.
