Panthers too good!

yep disappointing!!

But Liked our effort! Didn't take a few chances! But Can see us moving in the right direction!

And 20 errors / 71% completion rate is poor. Won't win games with that especially against panthers!

And Ennis STFU, I agree with Ryles, why bring Drown back on, he aren't winning us the game, give Papali (and TDS) the experience! Will set up us for next
Exactly, we can and should do whatever we like with Brown and he is not the difference maker the commentators were trying to make out. He is a good defender, average passer and okay runner.

Just too many stupid passes.....I see Ryles still can't get the dumb stuff out of thier game. Just absolutely f**king dumb shit.
The passes were fine. You have to make opportunities. The missing ingredient is Penrith came up with every loose ball including our offloads as they were anticipating them when our attackers were not and were essentially heads down asleep.

We've got to play with that attacking style (offloads etc) but complete at 90%.
We have players who can offload, and it is criminal that everyone has their heads down when they get the offload.
As I said above, this game was for astute observers not Monday morning quarterback statisticians.

The simple observation that we had some poor executions on the top of scintillating excisions of the Panther's defense belies a statistical reading.

Anyone who loves the game would appreciate the Eels first half just as they would the current iteration of the Tigpies. The latter for impromptu individual brilliance the former for well crafted execution of a game plan designed on exploiting our team's strengths and the opposition's weakness with the last pass often going astray.

The blind, dumb completion stat belies what we saw.

Mate sixteen of their points were directly off the back of Lomax doing f**k all, hell not only did he bomb a try but he just kept jogging forward not even giving enough of a shit to try and turn and chase Jenkins who made it to halfway and would've scored had it not been for Iongi actually putting in effort.
That was bad. Reserve grader Ish.

Good post...I think. I can't work out if you agree with me or if you are hack'in on me.

Exactly!

Here's some paraphrasing of Voss and pEnnis I jotted down during the game:

23 minutes to go 2nd half: "Ryles has got to get Brown on at 5/8" to get us back in the frame we were in the first half. Yet Brown was 9 in the first half.

15 to go: "Brown may as well go to Newcastle now." What, are we the development club for Knight's 5/8's now?

5 to go: Brown not on "Beggars belief"

Following: "Dylan Brown's days at Parra may as well be over." His days at Parra were over the millisecond he signed with Newcastle, you f**kwit.

I'm having a shot at Poupou Escobar and his statistical misreadings of the ebb and flow of a game through the distorted lens of an excel workbook.

The positives out of this game were:
Simmonson looked okay.
The young prop Tuivaki looks promising.
Arivanda looked sharper out of DH than anyone we've had since Jeff Fenech. Three darts.
Our young fullback is on the up and up.
There are too many errors, but the backline looks a good bit faster than it has in the past.

I kinda feel that Lomax is playing desperate footy- taking unnecessary chances because the team is in a hole. Brown at hooker was a complete failure. JR needs to take a step back and realise that making mistakes can be learned from.
His mistakes today were definitely off the back of actually trying something, but a mistake is the mistake in the end.

No. I’ve been following Parra since as long as I can remember which is ‘76. The merkin comes into the forum to stir, and I’m calling him out for the merkin he is.

So you're only a Wally-come-lately to the misery of being an Eels/NSW supporter. I've been hooked on the misery since '64.
Lightweights. I still remember going to their first game in 1908.
