What does our back row look like without KK and with Guymer not exactly a lock? and then one spare spot on the bench

Moretti due back and if fit takes one spot, leaving Guymer, Doorey, and Samrani fighting for 2 unless they look at Keir, Mataele or Latu given our shift in planning for the future

I don’t see any room for Brown with Riley back other than as 18th man.

Hope we see Moses on the extended bench too…

I’m all aboard the Dylan thing, but I reckon it’s dumb not to have him in the 17. As much as many on here sledge him, he’s still one of the best players in the club with one arm tied behind his back.

I wasn't alive in 1993 but gee LU would have gone berserk over a 68-0 defeat.

Fair enough. I think that would be the case if our main aim was to win games this year.
Ryles has made it pretty clear that preparing for next year is the main goal. Maybe Brown will play as a 13 with Williams moving out of the middle rotation as has been suggested

the only positive part about that game was Danny Crnkovic ending Stuarts season.

I do agree, but if it's all about 2026, then what relevance is it to put our best team on the field in 2025?

The coach's comments would appear that this is exactly the plan though.

In my view we've treated every game as trial from Round 1 anyway.
