Yeah if he wanted him out of the side to prepare for next season why not just drop him completely? Literally nobody would question it considering he’s not been in good form this year anyway. Seems like a weird form of punishment making him suddenly play a position he’s never played before and make heaps of tackles at hooker. I don’t even think he went that badly tbh. Helped set up one of their only 2 tries.

Tbf some players just need certain clubs or certain coaches from a confidence perspective. Look at Young for example.
