3-4 years ago, the Panthers had to play their stars busted, needled up with broken bones (literally), just to beat us.

Overall I don't mind the resting. It's no use limping into the finals everyone busted, either get there in a state to win or what does it matter? Our situation is different to some other teams who need to show progress like making the 4 or 8. I suppose this is where a coach can really prove their worth by being able to measure how much he can rest the squad while still picking up the wins.

Our draw has worked out pretty average, not particularly good or bad. We have a run of easy games, as we have a run of hard games, 2 of the top 4 twice, 1 of the 5-8 (besides ourselves) twice but gave up a home game to play Brisbane at Magic Round.
