Long term replacement for Gagai? What's everyone think of Starford To'a? He has been playing really well. Would love to see him back here.
To be honest, I haven't seen anything from him that seems elite? If that makes sense. He looks a strong defender and maybe might become as good as Anasta or Barrett in their primes but I don't see him being top top class.
how did we get him...
Jesus you need to let this one go.Long term replacement for Gagai? What's everyone think of Starford To'a? He has been playing really well. Would love to see him back here.
Why?Jesus you need to let this one go.
Ironic.Jesus you need to let this one go.
Even I let go when I realise it’s not for the best thing for the club.Ironic.
Have you watched To'a this season? I'm a big Hunt fan but To'a has been great and looks like he is over his injuries.Even I let go when I realise it’s not for the best thing for the club.
Starford Toa is average at best. If we need a centre next year, Fletch Hunt is a much better option.
He did what literally any recruitment manager would do. Beyond that, people are way overrating Hunt this early. We've got people in here thinking he can just swap in and replace Gags next year, but we've seen very little from him beyond his eagerness to compete for high balls thus far.POS cops some shit, but upgrading Hunt to a development deal for the remainder of this season and 2026 the week after his match winning performance against Manly was pretty good work.
The kid could have easily shopped himself around and picked up a top 30 contract you’d have to think.
Anasta and Barrett were both excellent sixes. They were not consistent through the entire careers, but injuries had a lot to do with that. I find it interesting you are suggesting fantasy signings but when we actually sign a name player, your first thought is to doubt it. Time will tell Yoshy. A bit more faith perhaps. To be honest, I haven't seen anything from him that seems elite? If that makes sense. I want to believe but it's so hard after being a Knights supporter for 30 years you know?Anasta and Barrett were both excellent sixes. Barrett in particular was really really good. He’s basically a forgotten great player due to how heavily his career lined up with Fittler and Johns, and also due to wasting those prime years on the Steelers/Dragons. Prime Barrett was a gun and if Brown hit that level that’s a great outcome for us.Anasta and Barrett were both excellent sixes. I hear you lad.I want to believe but it's so hard after being a Knights supporter for 30 years you know?
He already is the NZ 6. He needs to be even better in my opinion. Like Jahrome Hughes or Moses level at least to be fully worth the investment.Yes I would hate for Brown to only reach the level of a multiple Origin and Australian rep
How ghastly
TBaz also won a Dally M.Yes I would hate for Brown to only reach the level of a multiple Origin and Australian rep
