I watched every god damned second of thst game.

we were the better team the whole game (doesn’t

mean you win).

We had KIDS relatively in positions that outplayed highly fancied rivals.

Thst indicates to be coaching brains and reason for hope.

Goodness knows what we could do with more talent.

TDS missed 5 tackles today (76%, made 16). Smith missed 2 (92%, made 23)
No argument that his defence is better, TDS is below average in tackling and passing.
Maybe smith just set such a high bar when he first started. Seems like there’s been a few instances where he hasn’t been able to cover the distance that has led to a line break or putting pressure on another defender

Both are young and still getting used to the physicality of the NRL. Should be a lot better next season for the experience.

Man good to see joash look a little better offensively and run a bit more. Still so much to improve but hopefully the next few weeks build him some confidence to develop his running and passing which ideally translate at 5/8. Defs hope were still looking at external options though.

And hopefully Moses plays a full season next yr.. with the experience of the young blokes coming through and a few astute signings we may be looking to climb the ladder
