This is starting to look like the kind of situation where you need to read between the lines.
Reports this week confirmed a scenario that was developing at another club for a fair while now.
The chat about it has gone suspiciously quiet over the last few days especially by those on here who might have an inkling.
Cross everything and hope for some good news soon.
Jarryd Hayne come back fully go?

Power doesn't increase a whole lot from age 21 onwards. I'd say maybe 10% is possible.
Guymer does have light feet. I just think for him to make it he needs to develop very good ball skills

It would definitely help his game develop - if he could develop a good offload, or pass before the line, his lack of power is not so important, because now, defenders have to make a decision on whether he is passing the ball, or going himself.

He can probably get there, given his age.

I'd like to see it - I have a soft spot for hard-working defensive players, because every team needs at least one.

But if he could develop something to boost his attack, that would be amazing.

We've seen Kautoga strip his game back to nothing and slowly bring more and more throughout the year to become more of an attacking threat. Give Charlie a bit of time on an edge with Moses and we could see similar growth.

Or we could go the other way with Samrani on the edge who has far superior attack and bring his defence up. I'm interested to see how he goes 80 minutes playing second row in reserves this week, I believe it's his second game there.

you guaranteeing we have let go the right one?
There’s no guarantees in rugby league. But Papalii is the same age and well ahead. Talataina is two years younger so probably has more growth ahead of him. None of the three are good defenders. I hope we buy someone, or Fletcher turns out to be a first grader.

Why not will and put bailey at centre.
Will could be a liam martin type player

Told tonight we still have our sights on luring Pezet here.

And will have a massive play at getting him now Hughes has extended.

Makes sense why we haven't rushed for a few options previously.

I am little concerned Wishart is playing 7 ahead of him. Does that show the storm dont rate him as highly if there not prepared to put him in when Hughes is out injured.

Not sure but our interest at this stage hasnt waivered

Pezet/Munster is an interesting situation, particularly given managed by the same person.

Yes been told its not straight forward Pezet will go despite hughes staying because of that exact reason.
Pezet's Manager said on NRL360 last night that a 'loan' deal somewhere next year might even be an option. That only makes sense if Munster's Manager also has plans for Munster to play somewhere else other than the Storm in 2027.
