Well I’m more sympathetic to them tbh as a lot of stories wouldn’t come out unless they broke them.

Such as Benji sneaking off last year on a family holiday mid season and Richo going on his overseas junket to offload and cut deals. None of these trips were announced by the club.

As a member I want to know where my funds are going.

In terms of muck, it depends.

But It’s when they set themselves up as moral crusaders, that’s a joke. Kent’s fall from grace was quite marked.

Perhaps too we don’t see more neutral media in the game such as the abc etc.
Because aunty has been taken over by reactionary extremist woke champagne socialists pushing failed agendas.

@Poupou Escobar has a lot of insights into the emerging social landscape of Australia. Rugby leagues footprint is not growing as it might. If the game thinks it can just go on like it used to, it’s going to contract and disappear.
Well why don't they have a show that covers only this crap and those who want to watch the Jerry Springer type rubbish can and we can watch Rugby League.
I must admit, the journos haven't been too bad of late. Everything in moderation as they say.

We don’t have to consume it.

But I take your point that some of the topics they belt on about belong in the toilet.

At wests tigers, we are one of the most accomplished spin merchants and propagandists going around!

I’m embarrassed at the extent we go to to create false impressions to members, fans and the public.

I don’t trust my club. I don’t think any of us do.

All we read on official is what the club wants us to believe. That’s different from the reality I’m afraid.

Yeah.

I will post up some of his biggest crimes against the truth later tonight if you want.

It’s nothing personal against Richo, he honestly thinks he’s doing the right thing by what he says and does.

He may or may not be part of the solution.

I’ve met him a few times, he means well but the spin is out of control!

Haven't we just signed there pommie SR for 3 years?

We need Hunt to do what he should be doing or get another big bopper to do it.
Hunts demise is very painful for us.

It’s a mental thing, I understand and we need to work it out.

Imagine how he would go at full throttle physically!

We don’t have his version as to his lack of motivation.

I think he’s long gone from being an actual force tbh.

As a personality, I’ve got a lot of time for him.
I've watched him for fantasy coach reasons TSP, have you honestly seen him play this year?
I don't care what people say about stats....they are a good indicator on how he's playing.
The last I looked he was averaging around 40pts pg and in rd 10/12 he scored 60pts which is great.
He would offer more than say, AD has, apart from goal kicking.
He's an ultimate professional. We don't have rep player other than Api that can keep us in the game.
He can play solid middle, has an offload and often sprints after backs and brings them down. He is fast for a big man.

Ok, ok!! If you’re that keen, I’ll pencil him in!

Not a problem.

That's true. Unfortunately, society feeds on the Days Of Our Lives stuff.
For me though, I get pepped up when I read feel
We have a shortened version of NRL 360 tonight as there is only peace and love throughout the NRL world.. In the studio we now have new commentators only good people…not like the last lot. I just checked KPP's stats and his average fantasy points have him at 56.6 points which is the 4th best edge backrower in the comp.

Frizzel is averaging 36.2. Fainu is averaging 24.9.

I really think we need an impact middle forward. Royce is averaging 17.3 points. May 75.5. The thing with May is that he isn't an impact middle forward. He is awesome.

We need though quick play the balls and an ability to get on the front foot.

Agree with all this.
My keeness with getting someone like Frizzel is not only is he a second rower, he also doesn't mind running in the centre corridor. I've seen him on crash plays, tackles hard. There's really no downside except age.
He is still playing well though and our young forward pack needs his experience on and off the field.
As far as a solid middle goes, I really can't think of any available players, can you?

Supply v demand certainly makes an experienced Frizzel very favourable on the open mkt.He is also a mate of Benji’s.Im quite sure they played together at saints.

Back on the recruitment front, what do you think about signing Frizel. He's still going great and is so professional.
For the right money I'd sign him. He's long past being an origin player so I wouldn't pay him origin money. He'd offer a hell of a lot more than Hunt, or anyone else we have on the edge.

I think Hunt is providing what he can. It's not like his minutes have dropped off a cliff since he came here. He's doing what he did at Cronulla pretty much. Which probably shows why they weren't crying when he left. It was our fault for signing him, thinking he'd suddenly be able to play 40 to 60 minutes.

It's a real concern. Another option is to buy someone like David Fifita and move Samuela into the middle. I think we have to buy players in the lower grades that might do the job as well. Someone like Kit may come good. Someone like Peter Taateo might be an option.

We are getting rolled in the forwards and that needs to change. In stating that how much is coaching an issue. I swear I saw Pole miss a tackle of Brian Kelly and then drop the ball after trying to run a line on an edge. I think Pole is a great option as a middle forward because he has foot work but he is just learning how to be a first grader and you have to keep him in that role.

I disagree. I think all we want is 20 quality minutes and he hasn't been good enough. I think his form has dropped since playing for us.

Here’s the master coach in action, telling it as it is.

He draws on his experience and makes comparisons.

None of this “not good enough” cliche.

Very interesting to see how he goes about meeting a thrashing.

He doesn’t have to play the promises game and doesn't treat anyone as an idiot.

As he gets more experience, I think his aura radiates more.

Poor young Benji, he uses Bennet has a role model, fine and dandy, but essentially he lacks the intelligence to pull it off.

But he wouldn’t be alone I suppose in terms of media savvy.

Bennett would be a great coaching acquisition if we could somehow get him.
