Did anyone actually think Titans were going to do that once Tago came back on? They scored 3 of their 5 tries against 12 men. They needed to be 6+ clear before I'd be thinking they'd win.

Side note - Why are referees allowed to officiate matches in which the team they supported growing up is playing?

Actual professional competitions around the world don’t allow it, some even ban refs from officiating matches involving their rivals.

If they'd taken the two late, I reckon they're a very good chance.

Ofc you never know, short kick offs etc, but I don't think enough teams are thinking about that 2 point FG yet. 4 points puts it all on Penrith to score a try and you soak up time.

Was that the same trainer that got caught wetting the ball in the game vs the Cowboys earlier in the year?
Probably, but even if it wasnt....this is the level of cheating that the NRL needs to deal with when it comes to coaches. The NRL needs to be a step ahead of them with changing rules to be ahead of the cheats.

Titans were getting absolutely torn to shreds on both edges when it was 13v13 though. I reckon Panthers score (well, they did) anyway. Not even trying to shit on the Titans but I wouldn't trust them to defend anything but an 8 point lead in that situation.

Maybe. It was a sideline kick. He can kick them but they're never a cert. Cheesed him off and he needs to learn to not let things get to him I guess. Like me. I'm made of wood. Never lose MY f**kING cool. Never.
Still a dog act. He might have missed it anyway (I was confident he would miss), but what the trainer did just meant that this is all we would talk about.
