The coach will possibly pick JC purely that he loves him and thinks the Illawarra of him. Hes a damn good player with potenial. Still reckon Sifa should be a dead cert, but won’t happen with the coach
Willy Mason does too!!I agree with Sifa, I just don’t know if it’s just us that see’s him as a capable 13 or if Fitzy does too.
so i reckon, playing JC who runs differently, has passing, Sifa, whos runs are way better and also Puru for passing and other will actually see the team be better hey...JC is the guy.
Work rate and passing game.
Exciting.
Mcplod, for all his courage is too predictable.
Hits it up relentlessly but is meat and potatoes to defenders. Never breaks the line and continues to doe with it.
Our attack will straight away become less predictable.
Faster.
I agree, I think we'll look better in attack, and we have the bye week and a few games to fine tune it before finals. Few more games might have been nice....JC is the guy.

Open with JC for 20, then Puru middle 40, then JC to closeI agree, I think we'll look better in attack, and we have the bye week and a few games to fine tune it before finals. Few more games might have been nice.
It's the defence I'm concerned about.
Cam had the second most tackles in the comp before being injured. Averaging 40 tackles a game at 97% effectiveness over just 60 minutes on average. So we need to make up those numbers somewhere, also feel his defensive work let Blayke off the hook bit and allowed to spend more energy running.
Also curious how much Cam "set the tone" defensively.
I'm on the JC bandwagon too, think him and Puru share the role
Nah, willing to back in JC at this point. OK has no motor for the position, imho.JC would be the guy for 13 if he had played more footy in the last 2 years. It will be Kaufusi. Kaufusi can defend his arse off and make up for missing Cam in defence. It isn't ideal but I can see why you play the safe option 2 weeks out from the finals. Sifa will be coming off the bench at the very least filling the role for half the game once Iro is back.
If Nikora was around I'd be putting Burns in 13. So finals I'd roll AFB, Brailey, Hazo, Nikora, Wilton, Burns with Kaufusi, Toby, JC and Sifa on the bench. BHU misses out.
Go Emu’s !Stress free NRL week this week.
But ......... The Mighty Emus of Emu Park are in the Grand Finals on Saturday. The Chics at 1pm and the Firsts at 6pm.
As Big Kev would of said if he was still on the right side of the grass: "I'm excited"
Oh please ,in a heart beat, a ‘bullocking’ wide running 6. Our current coach cannot do this ‘game breaker’ stuff.Oddly, Sifa at 13 would see too much ball.
His runs are so damaging, you want quality - not quantity. At centre at the moment he is picking his moments and can pick his targets. He can get guys one on one - or pinball through a few by disposing of them one at a time.
Look at Yeo and Cam Murray and victor. They ball play most of the time and when its on they run.
Would we pick sifa at 13 to ball play?
No.
Would we pick him at 13 to trample guys?
Yes.
But at the moment its working because it's sparingly. If anyone thinks every time he gets the ball in the middle he'll bust through you're wrong. His workrate will go up and more importantly they will target him 3 on 1 and smash the f**k out of him...thus reducing his impact.
I would love to see him at 6.
Not every game.
But I'd love to see it.
Olsen Filipina.
Wally Lewis.
Sifa has good hands and quick hands. Defence would not be an issue, but get him running wide in the opponents 20 he would draw 2 guys in for a feed to his centre - or simply go himself.
Olsen and wally made an international career of bullocking wide runners at 6.
In the 14 jersey?Iro is back
