Looked better with CNK at fullback. More threatening. No less safe.

TSS is better coming off the bench, for the moment at least

3. RTS - hard to go past yet another herculean effort, has to be the Warrior of the year if this keeps going
2. CHT - I often berate the fact he's got limitations as a half, but he can certainly play footy and he was everywhere making crucial tackles and passes
1. TMM - I don't think it's a coincidence we sparked up a notch when he came on

CNK has surely settled the fullback debate for good.
EIT is yet another kid who looks every bit a first grader, what an assembly line we have.

Most were good, Berry had a decent comeback despite an easy missed tackle.

Niukore and Fish thankfully left all their crap for just the opening minutes.

3. Roger - Metres. Tries. 'The Difference', is his new nickname.
2. Chanel - Cover tackles, distribution.
1. Boyd - The boy can kick.

3 - RTS - have to - every time he carries atm he's dangerous
2 - EIT - 44 minutes in the middle, looked like he belonged - ran for nearly 150m, looked to be communicating well on defense, too
1 - Boyd - thought he played really well second game in a row

HMs - CHT (hard to choose between him and Boyd for points), Clark, CNK, Berry (team feels much more balanced with Berry in the centres), and... JFH (apart from that error off the kickoff and that one later that he was lucky to get away with thanks to captain's challenge, thought he played well - put in 60 minutes, too, which might be the most he's played this season).

Other thoughts:

Leka only got 26 minutes - whether that was intentional to give him some rest, I don't know, but he played the fewest minutes of anybody
Niukore - first quarter he was so involved and I thought, 'yes, he's going to own this game.' But then he disappeared. Don't know if that was due to halves directing play elsewhere or what, but my frustration continues lol
TSS - tons of effort, and he'll be better for it, but probably better off the bench at this stage

EDIT - also, hope Berry's not hurt again...

Not getting too excited. That is the wooden spoon winner we beat.

But yes, everything above re team performance. Noticed that TSS and Fish played unbroken for a long period of time. Niukore was better. Capewell had a bad period. We might have adjusted out defensive pattern with CHT shooting in rather than the wingers?

3 RTS
2. CHT
1 Boyd.
