I was thinking that lunch at Parra RSL was f**king awesome last time I came down, then over the Parra Stadium to catch the Cup game, then the big one, and off to Stirlos after the game for a couple.

Pretty much, everyone is invited. He wouldn't have posted that statement on a public forum if he meant otherwise.

I might suggest though Twiz, that we head somewhere else in Parra after the game other than Sterlos.
That has to be the worst bar in Parra.
Tight, cramped, noisy, small, stinky, dank, enclosed, no windows etc...... It's a hovel. (With all due respect to P Sterling. He deserves better than that).
There's plenty of better bars and pubs in Parra than Sterlos.

Hopefully the new clubhouse they build gives sterlo a bar the respect he deserves.

As you say the current leagues club and its setup is a joke.

Sterlo's bar these days feels like a dungeon along with the whole club in there.

I should be ok to be in for before the game (at least for drinks). Am dragging my daughter along for Fathers Day and I'm not sure she's ready to spend too long with some of you lot.

id love to mate but unfortunately I’ve got a family lunch that I’m hosting in which ive been volunteered as the BBQ operator….ill be getting there just before kick off.

You are cordially invited to join my Brother, Cousin, a mate and I to watch the last game at the Sevo. Pub not club.
We will be in attendance there to watch the last game on the big screen. You probably have a bigger scree at home but it's quaint and cosy and there isn't nearly as many Indian there as at Pendle or Toontown.

I understand that this is the wrong thread for this (or maybe not, depending on people's circumstances), however it has been kindly brought to my attention by @emjaycee that next Sunday is Father's Day.

Therefore, establishments like Club Parramatta will be extremely busy for lunch before the game. Hence, if there are any number of people planning on attending lunch with our grand master moderator, I'll need a show of hands so I can book a table or tables. That is, if any tables are still available at this stage. Apparently, Castle Hill RSL (which is much much larger) already has its dining options sold out.
I'd like to make this booking within 24 hrs.

Just remember that Twiz put this invitation out to everyone, therefore, everyone is welcome. Even sooks like @Avenger who said he wouldn't attend because his name wasn't mentioned amongst the names in the post quoted above.
Please let me know asap if you plan on attending this pre-game lunch and sharing a few beers with some really decent people.
