In his position I would be waiting to see who got the Knights job because at the end of the day who plays where comes down to the head coach. And he'd know Payten has shuffled his halves plenty and is as bad as AOB was at settling on a combo. If Holbrook gets the Knights job he's familiar with him & would know whether the coach rates him or not. Etc.

If I'd watched us this year I would have some confidence I could get one of those halves jerseys. Parr said on SEN a few weeks ago that they see Sharpe as a versatile backline utility. I don't think everything is totally set in stone.

You’d have to think he is the front runner. If he is I am not convinced Sandon necessarily starts at hooker. I think the general consensus in here is Smith has either been told he has a halves spot or will wait it out till KP likely departs. The fact he has signed a four year deal is great business by Sully. We can lose Brown and KP to injury and still be be very competitive.

Some speculation already that Sharpe moves back to the wing after his injury. Could lead to Dom switching flanks and Marz missing out. Probably means Matt
Arthur starts a hooker. If he stays.
