2025 Crowd Watch

The Storm have never sold out a week 1 final. I'd be very surprised if it's sold out by Friday. If they get to 25k that's still a good result.

Because of their excellent crowds this year I expected this to be the year that they'd do it. 3 regular season sell outs, to me it's a bit 'meh' to not sell out a final after achieving that, and second place.

Agree that 25k will look and sound good, especially if a bunch of Bulldogs fans travel.

I think the Friday night game makes it hard. If it was Saturday I think enough would have flown down to make it worth it. With no AFL games in Melbourne this weekend, it would have been great.

Wahs slow? They are selling far better than Melbourne... Melbourne sales so far are poor given that they have the city to themselves on Friday night, if we're honest. I thought they'd had such good crowd momentum that their fans would sell this out in a day or so.

Hopefully they can sell it out by Friday, but there are seats available everywhere at the moment.

i think melbourne is most expensive out of them all, paid 95 for category 2

i thought it was standardised for finals

It used to be standardised but in 2023 the Broncos suffered the same fate as Melbourne, and they seem to charge on the basis of facility standard.

I paid $84 (ticketed member rate) for Category 1 in Canberra.

Same category (also member rate) is $104 in Melbourne. Paid it, but feels expensive for first round. I reckon more than a few fans will skip this week and wait for the next home final instead.

First week of the finals and there's one game in Sydney to look forward to. Should be great.

Oh wait a minute, the ground holds how many???

I might just go watch a NSW Cup finals match instead.
Good option as you won’t get a ticket anyway. But you can get a ticket in Melbourne and Auckland if you are quick. So off you go laddie.
BTW the scenario you are whinging about could have applied to other clubs as well. Manly immediately comes to mind. If this upsets you so much then write an angry letter to the NRL. I’m sure they will care. Kind regards etc etc Vlad
