Have the Dogs got the balls to move Burton to centre?

Especially with Crichton now in doubt. No right centre, maybe Xerri can play right side next match? Burton will be the Kangaroos left centre in a month.

They have Galvin now who is dominant left side and look better with Sexton in the 7.

The balls to move their best half who had them in 1st to centre?

I hope they don't. It was weird to see how losing Critta (their best player) basically improved the team because it forced 3 players into their 'natural' positions, Sexton at #7, Galvin at #6 and Burton the left centre.

It is exactly what I would go with if I were their Coach. Hope the Doggies are idiotic and keep on doing what they have at the back end of the season.

Its hardly a knock on Burton. I think that is sometimes lost when its brought up.

The Dogs even when they were coming first didn't have a dangerous edge. Suddenly that left side looks like it has threat. Kikau f**ked up and so did Mann but for the last 10 minutes they looked like they were going to bust Melbourne.

I hope they don't do it either.

Sexton lost the game with that kick out on the full. That and Mann

The kick was bad. Bit early in the piece to say it lost them the game though. Mann and Kikau made blunders as well with the clock ticking down. Kikau's led to death sentence.

They just looked better with those forced changes. Best they've looked in yonks.

The Sexton kick out on the full changed the momentum. It was all Melbourne after that. Relentless pressure. You knew they would eventually get that try.

The Mann and Kikau lapses were done under pressure. In Kikau's case desperation.

If the Dogs had a 7 with competent game management. They would have won last night.

Sexton is the best they've got right now. The other forced changes brought the Dogs into the contest.

Hayward would definitely be worth a try but they've put themselves in a corner moving him to 9 and dropping Mahoney.

And on game management. Melbourne looked lost too. Pezet can kick but otherwise they had a number of f**k ups.

Thank god we have Nathan Cleary.

If Sexton is the best they have. He shouldn't have been out of the team the past two months.
We all know why. To fit Gould's shiny new toy in.

I think that was a very good result for us, particularly with Crichton going down. I agree Burton going to centre means they have a more natural halves pairing, but they're a grindy team and Crichton is the best defensive centre in the game, and guy who would have almost certainly fired up in the big occassion. Burton has some strengths to his game there but defense isn't one of them. He's one of their few vulnerabilities in general (see the Katoa try last night) and will be even more so in a position he hasn't played regularly in years.

A bit nervous how were all looking past today's game into next week but I suppose if we cant knock off this depleted warriors side it probably doesnt matter who we play and whether they have an extra out or two.
