Not to upset anyone but...

I regard that match today as the best comeback ever. I realise it was a grand final (2023) so it will be remembered as the best. But I think going down to 11 players and still winning is really special.

No I won't wash out my mouth. I'm eating KFC.

It absolutely won’t happen. Walsh is the Golden Child in the Broadcasters and NRL golden team, the Broncos.

They’ll get hit with a feather duster. If it was our players in the same position, they’d get hit with a sledgehammer.
Walsh giving the middle finger to kids in the crowd, but we won’t hear anything about that? Dude’s untouchable

I would agree it was definitely a good game, especially for a neutral.

Both teams shit the bed, good to see. We are taking FG in extra time
I agree. Too many individual try hards who were missing when it counted.

Ironically the goal posts were involved again for Canberra in a close game. Two in their favour with a conversion hitting a post, then a long rang field goal hitting the cross bar.

Karma in the end when a snick of the upright for the winning field goal.

Both teams will go with the Panthers for about 60 minutes and we will get them in the end.

I know we lost those 2 games in extra time but in both we were unlucky not to win rather than poorly setup

Sharks have a bit of the 2022 Eels about them. Very experienced outfit.

They now get a drained Raiders team to play this week. Melbourne are looking shakey.

I could honestly see them making the grand final. And if we happen to make it as well then you know what that means.

I wish I could be so certain. We haven't been good in the 'back end' of games for large chunks of the 2025 season. 2020-2024 it certainly was our strength though; hope we find it again for the rest of the final's series.

I'm not sure you are remembering the Melbourne game correctly. At Commbank I sit around the 20m sideline on the South Eastern end (Bay 113) so I had a great view of it.

After the Harry 'Milkman' performance we had numerous opportunities in very good field position and we fluffed it up quite badly. We got a full set about 35 metres out after Casey gathered a Melbourne charge down, and did nothing with it. Kenny, Nathan and Dyl were very poor.

Yeah they have a good bench and the comme tary mentioned their backs statistically run more than any other team so you can't really gass them out of a game.

We need Blaize and Dyl practicing drop goals.

If a quick play the ball isn't available then Cleary passing to a second kicker creates room as the defence sells out.

Dyl has enough to worry about unfortunately.

And now the draw lines up for them. They got the Roosters on a bad night. They are getting Canberra after a draining match. Storm with some injuries and question marks.

Can be a funny game sometimes. Showing up is always half the story.

Sharks went ok but the Roosters still suck
