Haha yes itt was.

Canberra were stuffed from last week. Sharks running away with it despite the Hazelton HIA was telling.

Ricky's selections were a head scratcher. Sanders should of been in the 19 then can cover Strange.

Not sure why they got Sunday though, I was never worried about them or the Dogs. I had hoped we got them in the Preliminary

Sanders was 18th man.

I get the argument against playing him. Such a huge task for a guy with very little first grade experience. But plenty of them were green anyway. Sanders is their 7 next year. Why not play him? Instead they plonked a backrower there and the left edge attack turned to shit.

Always thought our XP would get them. Also a clear defensive issue on their right side. Was easily exploited.

Sanders could only be 18th man.

The rules are when you cut someone from your 19 and ask for them to return on game day. They can only be 18th.

It is why you see in 99.9% of the time if a player is racing the clock to play. They either don't make that 19 or they play.

Kenny will play today due to this

Fogarty was their only option, that is easy to keep out and it showed early.

XP was my reasons
Dogs is Gus and bringing in the bum Galvin. If Schneider gets on today, Galvin means he won't be the worst on field

Sharks until now haven't shown in big games.

Broncos injuries and being flat track bullies.

I had Storm and Us from a while ago, our issue was lack of depth, full strength we are the best roster in the comp

Ahh I didn't realise he was cut.

Shows you how important an 18th man is. You get it wrong and it can be very costly. Think I'd have Sommerton today. Just with the Dogs style HIA's could be on the menu and it will be forwards who cop it.

Sharks just have everything lining up for them. Its one of the best year to get Melbourne with their injury to Hughes.

Broncos more dangerous than the Sharks but missing Carrigan. Too many choices to make in their spine. I think we've got that mental edge over them as well. Loved the way we dismantled them back in round 9.

Dogs too many stupid changes. They'll need a lot to go wrong for Penrith today to win it.

I have no doubt Ricky is good at motivation but knowledge and technical stuff he lacks. This is another example

I would go Laurie. Schneider and Sommerton is too light.
Laurie allows Tago or even Alamoti to spend some time on the edge

Sharks got a dreadful Roosters performance and Canberra who fell away. They actually have a decent record v Storm

Broncos have the skill, between Taylan breaking his jaw and the 2023 GF win Walsh goes MIA v us. Reynolds has never gone well. Speed and offloading is our weakness so no Mam is huge. Any team who refuses to grind - Roosters are another struggle against us

if they keep Hayward starting hooker they will fall away very quickly. He missed 15 tackles last week and Storm don't work the middle like we do

Ricky needed to run two hookers the moment Hazelton went off.

They had the chance to blow AFB up through fatigue and didn't take it.

No point having an impact hooker on the bench if you're not going to use them.

Just more worried about a couple forward HIA scenarios today. Dogs can be quite a reckless team. Sommerton 18th without the need to move outside backs closer to the middle if needed. Though Ivan will pick Laurie there I think.

I would have had Hayward at 7 earlier in the year. Galvin for 2026 but even this year straight into the 6 if I was forced to play him. Its his natural position. I wouldn't have dropped Mahoney either considering the changes ongoing in the halves.

I think the Dogs have made all the wrong moves. I think the 17 looks better today but its a bit late now.

Yeah I viewed that as a gamble but saw it the same way.

Once they were behind and also without Strange I would have used both 9s. Offload like hell and have Weekes in support. They just didn't look like they had enough points in them last night.

The media gave him a Dally M.

He didn't meet those expectations as the main man.

Crawley called him delusional in the last fortnight and they went hard on them after winning a final vs roosters who were playing good football. Nah f**k fox ill defend nicho like hes my step child. Yeo comes before all but nicho has copped it unfairly.

Sharks do some simple things really well no one notices. They scramble to marker super quick and there was a time Ronaldo pulled a player off the ruck like his life depended on it. Yes I know an idiot here actually watches the nuances of the game. They are a threat for the 1% they do.

I just think they easily get passed Cronulla next week and Melbourne have been awful lately, they barely beat a injury ravaged Bulldogs. I'd prefer to play Cronulla in the Grand final but they aren't making it.
Let's try this again. Cronulla is not a threat to the premiership and Melbourne will easily dispose of them on their way to the Grand final. If Hughes plays it's all over for them and Harry Grant will show Brailey how to take a dive when the game is on the line.

Yeah very much on the Cronulla train. They won't get a better chance to beat Melbourne than this.
