Broncos should be running constantly at Blaize and Casey....Riki and Staggs will be licking their lips wanting to run straight through those two turnstilesBlaize missed 10 tackles today. That’s a risk. And Morrin reckons that the Dogs are expending a lot of energy protecting Galvin I’m defence and the flow on is f**king them in other ways. Next year will be very very interesting.
You keep putting in little jabs about this and it seems you are more upset that he was questioned than any of us were about the ranking. That really upset a few on here you had them at 4th.
Needs more burning cars.
Galvin’s passing game is pretty average. He’d be going much better at the eels in a running role with Mitch directing the attack.Panthers were way too good today, they had a first half completion rate of 20/20 and every chance they had in the opponents 20 they scored. The Dogs signing Galvin once again hasnt proved anything, he couldnt handle the pressure against the Panthers and the opposition kept targetting him in defence. They'll have bigger problems in 2026.
I think the Broncos would be sh*tting themselves taking on the Panthers. I do agree that the winner of next Sunday takes out the title.
Because he was just ranking them by premiership oddsThat really upset a few on here you had them at 4th.

Every time you do it I respond with the obvious - a power ranking is about past form not potential improvement. Their form at the time did not warrant them being placed so high but I said that if they keep winning they’ll move up.
The Galvin kiss of death
"After exploding out of the blocks to win nine of their first 11 games, the Bulldogs struggled to post seven victories from their next 15 games.
That coincided with the mid-season signing of Galvin, who finished with six wins from his first 14 games as a Bulldog."

How Canterbury suffered killer blow before semi-final had even kicked off
The ankle injury sustained by Stephen Crichton against Melbourne last week deprived the Bulldogs of their captain and the best defensive centre in the game. Penrith took full advantage.www.smh.com.au

Very strange take. Going to agree to disagree on that.Thats not true
There are often pre season power rankings. They are not just past form. And even if you want to say past form, its still not just past wins/losses, thats a streak.
Power rankings are based on anything. Just an alternative to actual ladder wins/lasses. Ability and potential can definitely be used for power rankings.
Penrith lost games early on but alot were close. They were still showing more than other teams.
Just got to accept. Some people are better judges of league than others. Thats ok. We should admire their talent. Not be jealous of it.

Both clubs went worse after Galvin switched.@Tiger5150
Would love this stat i heard on the radio today that Galvin actually finished with a better win% for the Tigers then with the Bulldogs this season.
50% at the Tigers 5 wins from 10
42% at the Bulldogs 6 wins from 14

Hindy definitely knows more about league than me. But he knows f**k all about how power rankings work.
Fun? The power rankings is serious shit! They are just a bit of fun really. Not much else.

Another one I love is Bulldogs won 10 from 12 without Galvin (83%) and won 6 from 14 with him (42%).
He actually looked lost yesterday. If it wasnt for Preston running off him, he would have had almost zero impact yesterday.........Im loving it to be honest.
