Seriously if you look at every teams fullback I think Gutho is the actually the slowest, next might be Dylan Edwards.
I know he was brought in for his experience and to mentor Sloan, but doesn't look like that's going to happen.
So in the next few years we are trying to get props and a halfback, we are not far off needing a fullback as well.

I would argue the time for Gutho to move to no 13 is now. IMO he started the season well but got worse the longer the season went- and the areas where he was meant to be a mentor to Sloan eg defence where he constantly got burnt for pace or grabbed at someone's jersey and got pushed off were major areas of weakness. Ryles was probably right to move him on and Parra have a really good FB now.

Gutho is no 13. You can’t expect him to defend in the middle at his age after playing all of his career in the backline. If he moves from fb then 5/8 would be the place

If we are still pursuing Stewart, we probably won't sign him until Sloan is moved on.
Sami and Fale will take 2 of the remaining 4 spots available.
It sounds promising though with both Sloan and Ilias being linked with a possible move to the London Broncos that we will have more top 30 spots available soon.

Esp if we sign Fale/Sami, Top30 spots for outside backs are gonna be super rare... we do need to go after a gutho replacement and/or a Sloan replacement at some stage however.. but it cant be a flaky one.. it has be a legit fullback.. I do think Kennedy or Tracey could do that job for us.. but only if we cant find better in the meantime.. we might try and scrape 1 more year out of Gutho @ the back, but go after someone for 2027.. guys like Koula and Turbo as examples could be available.. though we will have to fend off the Bears and others.

If the Dogs continue to chop and change their roster looking for short term success, Tracey would certainly be worth pursuing if he gets squeezed out.
Koula would be the ultimate prized signing, but thinking Manly will definitely upgrade and extend him soon.

Manly might upgrade him, but pending if Turbo stays or goes, the potential to play fb and earn fb money with us is a massive drawcard.

I spotted Koukla walking with V Fifita and CT after the Cup semi v Wahs behind Leichhardt stadium 2-weeks back.

Could mean something, could just be some old Manly boys hanging out..who knows.
