They need to rebuild or they will just be making up the numbers
Or do they just need some better players? Whether they can fit them under the cap is a matter of recruitment/retention advantages (e.g. TPAs) outside the cap. Rebuilding a regular finals team is just shuffling deck chairs. It doesn't address the relative structural disadvantage of recruitment/retention. Some clubs are paying unders for nearly every player in their roster. Other clubs like the Sharks are competing with these clubs in the player market. Rebuilding won't change that.

No rebuilding is fixing the structural issues developing your players through pathways.

I am watching the Riff Storm Flegg game at the moment both teams seem to be setup for a while with the juniors they have coming through.

@Poupou Escobar I removed the dumb comment..

You don't over spend to keep players or buy players to be successful in every position.

Going out buying players isn't going to win you a competition.

Exactly. Going out and buying juniors is the secret, except it's not a secret. Every club knows it, and so the best resourced ones have the advantage.

But also don't be fooled by Jersey Flegg results. Unless the teams have a lot of under 19s players, the result is meaningless. 21 year olds still playing Flegg are unlikely to become first graders. Have you done the research on these Panthers and Storm teams, or are you trying to figure out their ages with your eye test?

I have an unhealthy obsession with how much I f**king HATE the Broncos. I actually think they beat the Panthers and I pray that I am wrong.

The idea outcome would be Reece Walsh having his worst game of the year and Ezra Mam doing his ACL.

f**k the Broncos!

I also hate them. My little bloke doesn't understand. He correctly points out they have a fair premiership drought, but I still remember them as the team that were premiership favourites every year. Probably similar to how my old man always hated Souths. I liked them because I saw them as the underdog, but in Dad's late teens they were dominant.

For sure but you avoid defensive pressure by keeping composure and not forcing high risk passes. When the opposition defensive line fires up you don't give them what they want by turning over possession. You need to hold the ball, take the hits and wait for them to tire. It always happens when teams stay patient.

Well yeah, and they just aren't that team, so when it's just a bit off, it's a lot off. Which is why they have those games in them.

I think a Storms v Ponys GF , Would probably be the second time in the history of my life...

That I seriously look to book/arrange/schedule literally anything else during this game so I can avoid watching it..

Want the Broncos to win the GF just so Reynolds can finally retire... Though I think the Riffs wingers will probably run 1km each in run meters and win the game single handedly

Can you explain in English for those high society folks like me watching Foxtel coverage?

Yeo got of the team bus, was walking to cross the road when Joey intervened and asked useless questions

In the meantime, players behind Yeo stopped , waiting for the interview to be over

Just looked dumb from ch9. Let the players be in their zone . Same as half time interviews
