I’m absolutely shattered. We butchered it, choked once again in the big one. This one will sting more than most, we had no right to lose that game after our first half.

Can’t take anything away from Brisbane…they must have the best half time talk in the world.
Bad luck Moff. It always sucks to lose a GF.

Back in 2006 I cheered for the Storm and when they lost I felt quite sad at the time as Storm had been minor premiers and because I hate the Donkeys. I didn't know that they were cheating the cap yet obviously.

Now for the first time in 37 years, I won't be watching the GF. Neither club has a single redeeming feature, including the trash cities they represent. I can't believe bloody Brisbane were given the Olympics for 2032 either. It will be far inferior to Sydney 2000, the best games ever.

Yeah, agree. Entertainment has seriously been shit.

Teddy Swims FFS?

Even the AFL Grand Final: breaking Snoop Dogg out of retirement was only slightly better.

Are you seriously telling me that there are no modern Australian Artists that could have performed??
They did that last year with Kid Laroi and everybody still complained.

It doesn’t matter what they do, Aussies will piss and moan.

The storm were honestly bog average all year, it was only the shit standard of comp that had them finishing 2nd. That first half was brilliant but they haven’t put in 80 mins all year so no real surprise what Happened. As good as their spine is they all look frantic in big, close games. I could be wrong but it feels like they are losing them more often than not.

Interesting year for them next year. The last 2 teams to lose B2B grand finals missed the finals the following year. Emotionally it must be so tough to back up from. Whilst still obviously good they’ve felt very stale the last 3 or so years. Papenhuyzen is the obvious one to move on, wouldn’t be against Munster going either.
Paps at least had a go in that game. Thought Munster and Grant went completely missing, especially Grant.

I mean apart from a few niche genres modern Aussie artists suck almost as much as Chisel...I didn't even see the entertainment cos I personally DGAF about it and rarely switch it on til after but it makes me laugh when we get international artists and people whine.

“Suck almost as much as Chisel”? Are you f**king kidding me?

Cold Chisel is a Aussie Icon!

I mean, because the NRL and AFL are Australian products. We should be at least getting Australian Artists to represent them in their big game entertainment as opposed to the Australian-MAGA circle-jerk.

wowww!!! This is the making of Reece Walsh. Hayne's 09 was insane, but Walsh's '25.... oh baby!!!!
Was Haas injured? He seemed to play a lot less minutes than normal, though maybe part of Madge's grand plan to maximise the last 25 minutes.

Carrigan apparently played 80.

Seemed like a strategy. Play Haas 80 min last week with no Carrigan, then tonight he could afford to take Haas off for a breather as Carrigan was there to hold down the middle while he was off.

He definitely didnt look hampered and his runs were much more effective this week. Broncos really attacked the soft spot behind the Melbourne markers well.

Kamikamika bombing that try turns out to be the game changer. Melbourne score that they probably coast. In reality Brisbane go down the other end and score and dominate the rest of the game. Apart from Paps no Storm player even sneezed in the direction of a try after that.
Theme of our finals series. We had some pretty crazy comebacks in the regular season too.

Was weirdly confident all week. Felt like fate/destiny.
