Walsh protected, shoulder to head and no sin bin, yet Loiero goes to bin for a similar tackle
Walsh should have got 10 but they were very different tackles. Loieros was much worse.

Very happy his night ended that way too ftr.

Loiero is one reason the Storm are just not polished like they used to be.
A pretty big guy that is more concerned with dropping to his knees in contact rather than push through a tackler. Surrender king.
Also he's a wannabe tough guy with sniper pushing from behind in most melees.
Only got a SOO gig cause he's hooked up with Grant's sister from reports.
He's definitely wrapped up by the media beyond his ability and is really only a bit player at the Storm behind the big 4.
The two Melbourne wingers are tougher than him.

Don't rate him.

I'm pretty sure the boys would have thought they could have won last night if it was them. Melbourne days are fading slowing.
Bellamy has won a grand final without Cam
Ivan without Nathan
Madge without Reynolds

So which players are the Broncos now gonna lose due to the salary cap after winning the GF? Staggs? Mam? Can't keep them all right? Nah, nobody of any regard. Maybe Cobbo and a few other nuffties. And the Storm? Same story. Absolute joke

Reynolds and Hunt should both retire. Would clear some space.

Reynolds is obvious. Guy is totally broken.

Hunt has always come across as a bit selfish to me so I expect he plays on. At the very least they should tell him to give up Origin.

Seems to come up with a dumb play in big moments too. He's a liability for a team of that calibre.

Hunt and ARey should retire.

Outside of Staggs and Walsh the Broncos the back five isn't exactly stacked.

The Broncos pack isn't spectacular either outside of Haas and Carrigan.

Their 2023 team was much better IMO and they did lose good players.

The Haas, Carrigan and Flegler middle is the only combo close to matching the Fish, Leota and Yeo middle.

Herbie is the best outside back in the league not named To'o.

The Storm had no urgency at all.

Multiple times the ball went wayward and they just watched it.

Bellamy struggles with big games unless he has supreme talent.
He has lost two Grand Finals in a row. Probably the only one since Brian Smith with the Dragons in 1992/93. Also has Bellyache LOST more Grand Finals than AYONE else

A bit harsh on Mariner imo. He was one of the best on ground last night. Underrated player.

Shibasaki keeps getting into rep teams somehow too.

Mariner and Shibasaki are good players.

In 2023 they had Cobbo who is enigmatic but can blow a game open and Herbie who is elite.

In the GF our boys were camped on their line in the first half and couldn't score.

Herbie and Flegler were huge for the Broncos in 2023.

Losing both really hurt them in 2024. Their yardage dropped off massively.

And on another note I hope we see Flegler return. He is an excellent player and the Dolphins need that forward leader to go to another level.
