If you think we are the shining beacon of clean players, you must have the blinkers on when it comes to DWZ. Dirty little grub. Should be playing for the Sharks - he'd fit right in.

How is complaining about Slater anything to do with us being "shining beacons". Got a man crush for Slater have you. Dickhead.

How is he a dirty grub? For not taking shit when he is tackled? More often then not when he does that it earns us a penalty as the referees were more than happy to ignore high shot that fired him up.

Referees dont do their job unless players do that or stay down to let them know there was something illegal.

Dallin is hot headed and gets into a lot of push and shove etc and I can see why some people think he is a dickhead but I always equated being a grub with more than just pushing people. Things that are deliberate attempts to injure players such as pulling on stitches, tripping, elbows and knees into peoples heads, twisting and pulling limbs etc Ive never seen that from Dallin.

I called DWZ being a hot head when he got done in juniors for eye gouging. We had high hopes for him back then so one or two around here weren't ready to accept it. He has been able to keep out of the spotlight with it but it's unnecessary. Risky and doesn't add much. Just play your footy and prove you deserve your spot.

Back on topic, James' hit on RCG may be innocuous but I'm of the belief that if a player is regularly injuring players - even unintentionally - they deserve a week or two as motivation to adjust their technique.

We will see how soft with the upcoming ashes series, and if we don't whitewash them some serious questions have to be asked.
Like what?

There are some really good English players, playing in the super league. But the competition is on par with NSW cup as a whole. That’s just the way it is.

The rep games won’t change that.

Time will tell.
I expect any decent younger English players having a good ashes series will be signed up by our clubs

Mostly true but I'm not as pessimistic for the future.
What do you think will change? It would take a lot of work at the grass roots level and I just can’t see it happening.

The English game just has a really soft underbelly. Sure you get the odd freak come through, but the systems aren’t set up to produce them.
