Mate where have I ever said anything about our management? Our front office was totally and unbelievably incompetent and we deserved every spoon we got and every spoon was directly the result of incompetent management. Then we sacked our board and the new board sacked Pascoe and Lee and appointed Richo. Every step since has been a win.

But when old mate starts counting ben Gardner as first grade coach of the Tigers, that level of stupidity/trolling has to be called out.

They didn't coach the first grade side?

Anyway what that number showed was the inability for the club to have some form of a long term plan the club was and still is in most ways a joke.Even now you have a CEO that has NFI

We were atrocious in 2025. Of course we were going to improve massively in 2026. Just like we improved massively in 2014 and 2019 compared to the years before. I know you want to be excited about the future, but you don't have to shit on the past to do so.

Which is factually incorrect, unless you’re talking about some other nine year period. Because Jason Taylor and Michael Maguire were both axed in the last nine years, and Tim Sheens was let go early too.

And my comment was in response to "The Tigers keep letting go of coaches and don't improve. Cleary and Maguire have both won premierships since leaving Wests so it wasn't the coach, but someone has to be the scapegoat." (Pou pou)

Jason Taylor wasnt in that 9 years, Sheens quit. None of the other coachs were sacked as first grade coach, i.e. none of the others were scapegoats.

Nah it's because that 2017 squad was so good.

Some genuine talent (Mennings, Ma'u, Norman, Radradra), but most of them did f**k all, either before or since.

So you know as much as Brian Smith? Premiership rings aren't granular enough to prove anything. Michael Hagan has more than Brian Smith. Career win rate or total career wins are a better measure of coaching quality.
