Apples and oranges. On Sundays different markets get different AFL games on 7

The 297k rating is for Melbourne v St Kilda which was on in NSW and VIC at 3pm

SA got North Melbourne v Port Adelaide
QLD and WA got Gold Coast v West Coast

🤣 🤣 🤣

ah no dopey
297K is the combined ratings for all 5 markets combined for which ever game they got
QLD got the last 2 games

that is just plain embarrassing

Incorrect. They are coded differently on Oztam. 297k was Melbourne v St Kilda.

Go here if you want a full explanation:

I just got informed the fumblers ratings weren't for one game televised nationally
it was for 3 games shown in different markets combined
early game shown in SA
middle game shown in Vic , NSW , ACT & QLD
late game shown in QLD & WA 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yeh I just remembered they lump various games into their fta numbers

lol

Look at the OzTAM data. There are three separate entries:

SEVEN’S AFL: SUNDAY AFTERNOON FOOTBALL (Melb v StK)

SEVEN’S AFL: SUNDAY AFTERNOON FOOTBALL - GAME 1 (NM v Port)

SEVEN’S AFL: SUNDAY AFTERNOON FOOTBALL - GAME 2 (GC v WC)

You are all wrong.

no. You are wrong. The coding for Sunday afternoon applies to the Roos/Power game as well.
2 games were shown in WA/QLD.

It's quite confusing but if you look at the Metro Rankings post by TV.Cynic on Mediaspy:

The Roos v Power is coded as follows in the Adelaide table:
SEVEN’S AFL: SUNDAY AFTERNOON FOOTBALL - GAME 1

The Melbourne table has one game, Melbourne v St Kilda, coded as:
SEVEN’S AFL: SUNDAY AFTERNOON FOOTBALL

The other game, GC v WC is suffixed as GAME 2.

It would help everyone if they just listed the match on the OzTam codes.
