Round 2 Panthers v Sharkies @Bathurst

I could see the Tigers beating up enough trashy teams to make the 4. Similar to how the Sharks have snuck into the top 4 on occassion. I don't think they'll hold up against a team that doesn't roll over for them though.
You are correct about the Sharks sneaking into the 4 because history has shown that they have been kissed on the you know where by the draw fairy for years. They get a dream run again this year.

Lets just see howbthe season unfolds.
The worm has turned.

The apprentice has now turned on its master.

Smug lite is now holding the whip and the end of the original is nigh

The smuggies now face the unthinkable, living in imminent fear of playing the Wests Tigers.

Greetings from Sutho;

I'd classify the modern Sharks as a quintessential gatekeeper team. Decent, consistent team who functions as a "you must be at least this good to play Penrith" check for anyone in and around the fringe of the 8.

The Tigers have a decent team on paper this year. Bula, Api, Luai, Pole, Fainu, May x2, KPP are all very good players. Roster wise they should be in the mix. They just deservedly have a stigma about them because theyre both the Tigers and gave the work experience kid the keys to the kingdom as it were. I dont trust their depth if they cop a few injuries either.

I believe the W/T are once again like a deck of cards. They remind me of this song.

Not convinced about Kai Piss Poor. Was terrible at the Knights but very good first up for the Tiggers. Time will tell.

The spine has always been an issue for them against the competition heavyweights. Decent enough against the lesser teams but not quite good enough to beat the better sides when it counts.
