What is your source for these STV figures? Just making them up as you please?

Also, the Port v Essendon game was shown in WA, as there was a specific on-screen message for WA viewers advising them to stand by for West Coast v North while VIC went to 7 News.
Again dopey
heaps of data around , don't cry your fumbling mess is being destroyed by the NRL

Also, separate to the Port v Essendon game, West Coast v North Melbourne rated 101k on Seven (Perth market only).

NRL itself has reported STV numbers at around 90% of FTA numbers a few times in the last few weeks
& have an exact % of the increase on 2025

these numbers are good

The NRL's FTA numbers are .... all over .. the fumbling games ... & it is .. logical to est the same is happening on STV

Okay but you can't just extrapolate this to all games and claim the figures as fact.
some will be higher
some will be lower

it averages out..... if the NRL got 492k on FTA , the average on STV for this figure would be 442K
If they beat the clown show in singlets by 140K on FTA then it makes sense the difference in figures on STV would be the same , so the fumblers numb for yesterday on STV would be around 300K

It is understandable considering Essendon's lacklustre effort. The result was beyond doubt by Quarter time.

Beyond doubt ?

I actually checked the score and there was a 32 point difference at the end of Q1 …. Is that margin considered insurmountable in your game ?

That margin itself is not insurmountable for a half decent team. It was more about Essendon's weak defence. Port were scoring easily like it was a training drill. The Essendon coach even admitted this after the game.

Why the f**k am I reading this stuff. Horrible. I feel unclean.
Ask yourself why am I on a Rugby League forum if you are so in love with that other silly past-time. I would suggest that you are in the process of League becoming your favoured sport and more the more you follow League the more you realise what a silly abomination, living in cloud cuckoo land that other `sport` is.
I`ve seen it on another forum where a once-died-in-the-wool fumblefan now prefers League. You`re breaking free of the cult.

Sorry, I didn't realise it was illegal to follow more than one sport. I genuinely do like RL however a lot of games are one-sided and become boring to watch as I have no affinity for any of the NSW teams. Storm v Broncos on Friday night was a great game though.

Also I was just answering a question from another poster.

While I no longer estimate Fox data for games, @WSWanderingEels on twitter does and he was within the margin of error compared to the NRLs official data. So yes, you kind of can. I also strongly recommend him to league fans on twitter who want a specific NRL slant to data.

Also, separate to the Port v Essendon game, West Coast v North Melbourne rated 101k on Seven (Perth market only).

Was 122k in WA, likely similar WA Audience last week (147 nationally including Queensland for a Suns game).

You said he was on the money with ratings so how is he slanting towards nrl?

Why do people keep saying this when there is no data to go on? It is commonly accepted that the AFL watching audience are leaving 7 for Fox/Kayo in droves since Fox has started doing its own commentary for each game.
what are you talking about , the STV totals for both codes were released prior to the finals last year & there were plnety of updates during them

And the only thing accepted is the drop of about 7% on FTA last year was offset by a 20% increase on STV
Droves ?
hardly 🤣 🤣 🤣
