It has been hard to get a handle on exactly how many seats are out of use. At first the report was 1200 seats, then I think I read 26K capacity. If that’s a sellout crowd that’s closer to 6-7K seats which is pretty shit for the knights.

But yes to answer your question I did know why.
the whole upper level is out of action so it's well more than 1200 seats (i don't know why the media reported such a low figure), IMO it would be closer to 5-6k so that and a couple of thousand season ticket holders out of town for easter, 23k and a sellout checks out I reckon hey.

But there's still Dragons fans out passing their loyalties onto their children.
That`s us to a tee, I`ve passed my life-long support for St. George to both my sons aged 23 and 26 years old, especially my youngest. I live with the guilt every year knowing what I`ve dumped on him. He built a wonderful little shrine on his dresser in 2010 when he was a 7 year-old and we won the comp. It`s been a bastard of a journey for him though compared to how I had it.
We`re just sweating on the Saints from coming good again and we`ll be right back on the bandwagon attending several games a year with my boys and dragging other family members along.
Btw, we still did go to two last year.

Almost a carbon copy of me and my 20 year old son. He was only 4 in 2010 so has to do with youtube re-runs of the GF. He can see the lights at Jubilee from his bedroom window. Hopefully they shine brightly 1 day with GF no. 17.

Thats pathetic have a 20,000 odd picturesque stadium by the same getting used 5 times a year.
Dragons move full time to Wollongong and build support is the answer.
Friday 6pm is always a low drawing time slot. People working in Sydney struggle to get home and then to the game.
I’m retired now so I’ll be in my seat.
God willing. 🙏

Classic example of trying to please everyone and ending up pleasing no-one!
should be 10 games at gong, 1 heritage round at kogorah and 1 (sharks) at Allianz. Then create a 7 game Sydney membership for syndey dragons fans which includes the two home games plus 5 away (roosters, souths, eels, bulldogs, tigers (at one of the decent stadiums).

Now the new CofE has opened on innovation campus are they back fulltime training down there?

The Warriors are one of the biggest drawcards in Melbourne. I'm tipping this game will be 28k+

Not surprising given it's been a guaranteed win for them the last 10 years 😢

God I hope we can pay them back for a decade of pain, but based on the last 2 weeks poor performance and a number of forced changes from injuries and suspensions (TBA), I really don't know, regardless of the Storm's own losing streak...

Encouragingly more areas of Level 3 & 5 have been opened up for the Perth Double Header with an extra two rows added to the bays in the TV arc.

Rabbitohs & The West have both pretty much confirmed that the crowd will be more than 30K, question is more how much over.

The more I think about it the more it makes sense to play the majority of home games a year in Wollongong and play 3-4 home games a year at Allianz. You could even sell 5-6 game Allianz memberships with away games to South Sydney and the Roosters.

It makes no sense to me that the Dragons are basing themselves in Wollongong with the new COE but they are only playing 5 games there this year with one of those games being in the graveyard slot of 6pm. I would feel duded if I lived in Wollongong meanwhile Sydney fans have more home games and also have the option of attending away games.

Feels like some of these clubs are run by people with a diploma out of a lunch box.
