Throw massive dollars at Webster from the Warriors...( Yep pipe Dream )

Young a lock for interim ( Board lack imagination just remember the worldwide search and the board come up with Mary, stating the best candidate was right under their noses...)...

and as others have suggested Wallace and Hornby
If we can find the next Webster that would be ideal.

Agreed mate. No more dinosaurs. We need a younger coach with a fresh perspective, just look at how well the warriors are going at the moment
Look at the Tigers and Knights they are attacking the game ....... There is too much emphasis on defense ( that's Flanno's coaching style ) Game has changed , yes you have to defend but you also have to attack ....... You need fast attacking players also not like our lot ......

He was signed sealed delivered ( Ryles ) and we stuffed it up...LOL
Yep exactly GS. Management are unlikely to propose proper changes to the front office to the next coach, so we definitely need our next coach to do what Ryles did and get these demands agreed to before signing the dotted line.

Any coach worth their salt would know this now and would do this, as we're increasingly becoming a coach's graveyard.

Yes spot on Illusion. For all the emphasis on defence, if you asked our fraud coach about defence he would reply back asking if we prefer colourbond or palings 😂😂

The Cowboys aren't great at defence but they throw the ball around and score points, I'd prefer we do that when our team couldn't tackle a steak sandwich!

Agreed but too many people seemingly looking after their own self interests....

It all starts and stops with the Board and filters down....

The last person to do what you stated was Wayne , and he fell into our lap ( a Bradbury )

We even stuffed that up, he wanted 5 years and doust stated we only do 3 year deals . ( Imagine that...one of the greatest coaches in history )

There are stories from wayne's days which would make your hair curl.... He did the job and could

see that it was time to move elsewhere.

Yes exactly right, had we not gotten our miracle with Bennett, I'm not sure we would have taken advantage of our premiership window at the time.

If our next coach doesn't at least coincide with Haran being shown the door and a competent head of football being appointed (my suggestion is Brownie) then I'll seriously doubt any new coach's ability to turn our fortunes around in any serious manner.
Many believed Fraudagan with his experience would navigate around our incompetent club management, obviously didn't turn out how people had hoped.

How has that worked out for the well being of the club....

The only people who benefited are those who kept their jobs while constantly under-performing.

We have the worst defence numbers in the comp…. so that’s not working either

Was watching the Sharks V Easts games and one of the commentators said with all the changes with six again and ruck infringements, if you got the ball, you have to put on the points.

Us in a nutshell. Other than the Cows, we've either been ahead or a few points behind. With the new rules speed and attack trumps defence.

Flanno will die on the sword by not giving the young blokes a on Friday.

The club has made improvements other than on the field. No demands to be given the new coach.

Absolutely love this Post, I said the same a couple of week's ago, Bulldogs did it with Des Hasler, we should do the same now.

I have to say, I’m leaning towards Brad Arthur. He might not win us a title, but he looks the type of bloke who might take a board member behind the bike sheds if he feels like he’s being white anted.
