They got Su’A, why can’t they get others?
He might have a quick sale sticker on him.

As of late July 2025, Dragons forward Jaydn Su'A is managing a grade 2 medial ligament (MCL) knee injury sustained in Round 21, with a return expected by Round 25, avoiding surgery. Earlier in 2025, he suffered a low-grade syndesmosis (ankle) injury in Round 13, per a Round 13 injury update from the St George Illawarra Dragons.
2025 Injury Summary
  • Knee (MCL) Injury (Round 21): Suffered a grade 2 medial ligament injury following a hip-drop tackle. Initially feared to be a season-ending injury, it was later confirmed he would not require surgery and is targeting a Round 25 return.
  • Ankle (Syndesmosis) Injury (Round 13): Suffered a low-grade syndesmosis injury, reported by the St George Illawarra Dragons, forcing him to miss matches.
    St George Illawarra Dragons +3
Previous Injuries
  • Shoulder (2023): Missed the remainder of the 2023 season after undergoing shoulder reconstruction surgery.
  • Shoulder (2023): Suffered a right shoulder subluxation in Round 7, causing a 3-4 week absence.

Coach Flanagan: (asked Vonny if they will get a win tonight)

We have been training for a win for 6 weeks
We had a good look at each other on Monday training, and asked if we needed to change anything
And we decided to change nothing
In that case......Dragons are specials.

I have to admit that I haven't been motivated to watch all of the non Eels games this round. I'm still quite deflated. Maybe this Dragons v Rabbits game will cheer me up.

Me too mate. The NRL is one of my great passions outside of family life. I’m normally watching every game even is Parra are average as it’s a great escape from normal life.

The state of Parra atm has really had me feeling dejected mostly.
