IMO Id put this win above that and the 58-0 semi final v ponys.

We werent losing that opening at Bankwest Stadium (now Commbank). I think from memory we only had Nathan Brown out

That Ponys semi final, they were rat shit all year under Siebold, just scrapped in the 8. Great and memorial win nontheless...

BUT In the scenario who is actually gonna win

Yesterday winning should not have been in the same universe as those two other games.

Considering how we played last week (and all year). ton of injuries . Dogs extra 3 days to prepare and on a high after detroying the Ruff

Id compare yesterdays win to the win we have over Melbourne in Melbourne when they were going for that record consecutive winning streak of 19, and so called professionals like Vonny on Fox Sports, days before the game was played, urging everyone to get to the game to witness history being broken by the Storm 'my goodness' indeed
Our best win since Townsville.

Probably top 5 in past 20 years.

I want to see it backed up now though next week.

We have had enough shockers this year and its only round 7.

We can't keep going back to bad habits every second or third week.

interested to see how the dogs respond on friday night against the Broncs but I reckon there's a chance we may have broke those merkins big time.
Broncos are missing 12 players as well.

Walsh, Hunt, Staggs, Haas, Carrigan, Mozer, Walters, Arthurs to name a few

Obivously they have more depth then us being the Man U of the NRL.

But there still missing quality out there that the Dogs should be winning

The ref Liam Kennedy deserves a wrap.

He didnt give us a 6 again i think all game.

But i liked it and ironically most of the crowd did as well. I think the Dogs got 2 or 3.

Yesterday showed half of this 6 again BS this year has all been manufactured and isn't required to make it a faster and exciting game.

He did, then walked it back and gave a penalty for the late hit on Mitchy that gave us 2 points in front.

Penalty must have been a bunker call.

Referees don't get much praise but I'm glad yesterday he let it flow and didn't over do it. It made the game more intense and interesting.

People want the 6 agains scrapped but the problem has been how its officiated. Yesterday was an example of how it should be done

It was probably the best game all season from a footy perspective..

I hate watching a game where the officials have that want to stamp their authority but arent consistent..

One other thing I really liked - apart from Penisni's try, all the tries we scored were "manufactured".

Too often, we've scored "fluke" tries, where the bounce of the ball goes our way, or a pass isn't called forward when it should have been.

Yesterday, all the tries we scored had some semblance of structure to it, which is impressive.
