Finch worth 300k a year

As stated elsewhere it seems that Finch is around 300k a year..considering we are paying the event horizon of Rugby League 250k or thereabouts I think Finch is a bargin..give him 350k..and send the event horizon to that massive particle accelerator in Europe and smash him into his composite particles.

Or Super league.

I just can't get excited about Finch.

I thought he was a disgrace at the roosters, and apart from a few good games, i reckon he's disgrace at the eels.

He's like kimmorley, in that his best asset is tenacity

f**k that .....I want a fluent half ...someone who doesn't need a script to play well.

Sure he's better than kimmorley, and sure the price is reasonable for a half of his experience, but ........ f**k that, he's just a monotonous drone

Seymour should be retained before splurging on Finch.

Just an idea might not be a good one, but how about we try for mini from the roosters..chuck him at full back and have kearney and seymour in the halves. I know mini has a back problem but if he was fully fit i think would be great for us.. wat u guys reckon?

I think Finch is in all reality a long shot mainly because of the supposed tension between him and sticky at the rorters. This year I think that he has stepped up a notch at parra and been their best to date. Hecertainly offers more than the singularity that is noddy. On the market for the next couple of years is who else that will, when combined with the more free flowing buster at 6 offer us the potential to be within striking distance of the leaders come the end. For mine Id like to see Killer at 7 , but in the interest of having the "excuse" to cut the singularity a buy like Finch would appease board members, sponsors and mum and dads supporters. How else will we be rid of him before the end of 09 and f**k me if i dont want to watch another 33 rounds of anti gravity anti football dross served up in what is becoming a less interresting game or " product " anyway.
And also pointing out that Finch is only 50k more shows what sh*t the board has given us in the past re the singularity.

Yeah Mini would be a great buy but he must be on big money and how bad is his back..but he is a great player and obviuosly likes playing under sticky .
I really dont believe that story about the rorters watning to get rid of him...seems like a distraction to keep most people from thinking they are rorting it...could they be?

the roosters rorting the salary cap.. never thought of such a thing.. dont they just breed great talent out that way?

If the parra attack can't fire with their current backline, I fail to see how Finch would perform any better with ours.

f**k Finch theres no way he'll be in our colours next year.

If anything throw Bird to 5/8 and Seymour to halfback (that worked at the end of last year and it seems Bird had no trouble creating plays on sat night) Spend the money on Steve Michaels at centre and have Williams, Anderson and Gallen in the back row. Then sign and up and coming back rower, prop and halfback from NYC. Halfback Sam Clune from Harold Matthews looks like a great prospect for us, but then again so was Russell Aitken when he played at that level...

How about Finches game in the second half versus the dogs..
better than any of the singularities in the last 4 years.

Ive made it clear my selections for 6/7 yet how are we to achieve a change.
I dont believe that Sticky is or will be able to drop the current 7 .We need a solution and for 50 k extra Id fuggn have Finch any day and send the league black hole to ESL.

The whole of parra are stuggling but unfortunately I think they will finish higher than us at the business end...Finch , Mateo, Grothe ,Inu to come back and Hayne..sh*t get it together and they can win the whole thing...
there is no way you could sat that for us..but its not a debate about teams..just halves..granted Finch was quiet on Friday but so has our 7 been..for 4 f**king years.

As for NYC teams I agree we need to invest in the future ..but we need a solution for the next couple of years..I dont want to watch this borring , frustrating , energy sapping team for another two years.

It does look like Kimmorley is not the answer, we could try and think outside the box, the option is Seymour to half & Bird 5/8, and have Jarryd Hogan as backup from NYC, he looks like he could be ok, but Bird is better at lock, so we can have both ball playing lock & f/e, seeing who is off contract, Finch is the option but is he any better.

Ranji Chase from Dragons, could be worth risk he is playing with a beaten side, he does look likely in attack, playing him outside of Seymour he is unpredicatable but that is something we just might need.

Jamie Soward no, he has good kicking game but can pass right.

This is the player if he dosent go to England sign him for 2 years, Brett Hodgson have him play half back, he could swap with kearney throughout game, in juniors thats where he played, its risky but might be a option
