Great news.

Lets hope the Catalans put on a show.

They'll win this game, and as usual it'll be close.

Only way they won't win, is if they have more players put in the sin bin, they have a bloody good side and the more they play, the better they are going to get.

I can't wait to see how they go against Leeds, Wigan aren't the side they once were.

The good thing about where they are is though, even if they do manage to lose, they'll still be in 3rd place.

Of course Wigan are not the team they were, they are 4th place now and even if they win this weekend, they'll still be in 4th, if they lose, who knows.

This is way different to when the club would win CC titles and the League leaders, those days are over.

Well done, looks like they'll be in 3rd place at least for 3 more games since they have 5 point break over Wigan, never know, they could still give Leeds and Saints a run for the top two, Leeds lost as well to quins in a shock.

This match was on at the same time as the USAP - Stade Francais game (the last Rugby match of the regular season, deciding who finishes 3rd) which got a crowd of 13517. I think it's fair to say that the Dragons' crowd is pretty damn impressive with this in mind.

Miguel de cervantes, I'm curious as to what is the capacity of that ground in Perpignan? (roughly, what are Catalans average crowd attendances). Do you think the capacity of the ground needs to be increased, and if so, to how much?

And also, what was the atmosphere like on that day? How is support for Rugby League in Perpignan area like, in comparison to other sports (assuming you live there)?

Capacity is around 9,500-10,000 I think, they don't count the freebies, so that's why the crowds are printed smaller than they look.

700 kids playing RL got in yesterday after playing some games down the road.

oh, and also another thing: Why is it I have noticed that Sky Sports never televises any Catalans home matches (and rarely do they televise away matches of theirs)?

Something to do with the old contract, Les Catalans were not part of it back then, so they are stuck with the French mob until next year who they can't get the rights off (what a heap of garbage).

I'd love to know what will happen this year if the Dragons get a home final and there are only 4 teams left, what are skysports going to do then?
