Yeah, got a good Man U game going, where the team is going bankrupt, so its quite funny. I lost nine points due to going into liquidation, and it cost me the league.

Also got an England game, where I won Euro 2008, which I found funny.

is it just me or the longer you play on, the sh*tter the big teams get, especially the Big 4. I meat in my current game Man U are in a relegation dog fight and chelsea are barely a mid-table team

I've been playing FM08 ever since HSC finished last year...pretty much owns every little spare moment in my life.

I have a cronic problem with FM however, I struggle to stick with a solitary game for a set amount of time. Best I did was get to 2010 with Accrington.

07/08 - Promotion to league 1
08/09 - Mid-table finish
09/10 - Promotion to Championship

I just stopped playing then, after I got lost 6-5 in the last minute to Liverpool (who yes, were in the Championship). Derby also got relegated all the way to League 1. Not to mention Crystal Palace on top of the EPL after 10ish rounds, after Middelbrough one it 3 seasons straight :S

I've been recently gettin back into it. Am going to start a Arsenal game now...will post a best players sheet as well...

Only downfall is you start at 07...so if you want the world cup you have to cruise through 3 years, or you can always choose to go on holidays...but for how long I'm not exactly sure. Best picking up a European team and playing through the Euros.

Otherwise FM will probably own your life...litterally. You won't go out unless FM gives you permission. The little f*cker won't even let you sleep.

I am loving FM 2007 at the moment - I am manager of Swansea City and have earnt promotion to the Championship, the Johnston's Paint Trophy, the League Cup, an FA Cup final appearance (flogged 3-0 by Le Arse) and just escaped the group stage of the UEFA Cup by beating Stutgartt, PSG, Steau Bucharest & Motherwell. It's just ticking over in to 2012 now and the Board are "delighted" with me.

Good times.

Because Swansea made the FA Cup final but Arsenal had already qualified for the Champions League.

We also made it the year we won the League Cup...

HATE IT when players claim to be unsettled...

Sometimes it can be a turn for good...e.g. My Reading game I had going once, Shorey and Doyle wanted out...HELLO Zarate and Rafinha...that was great for me!

And the other thing is when I want to off-load some players on transfers but the only offeres that ever seem to come in are for people I want to keep - even faxing all the other clubs and reducing the fee does nothing. So I either release them on a free or wait until they're out of contract.

Pisses me off!!

i dont no much about this game so just wondering can you actually play the games they play or u just manage your club?
