I've had a really good time here. Made a lot of friends, fallen in and out of love, had some great sex, seen some amazing things, and learned a lot about myself.

But now I'm ready to go home. I know where I want to be and what I want to be doing, and treading water here is just frustrating me.

Originally I had planned to go there with the (then) girlfriend, but that would have required rushing my time at home and settling for less pay. If I wait until September, I can get the job I originally wanted.

We broke up because she leaves soon and she figured staying together would only make goodbye harder. That said, it hasn't gone to plan thus far. Still spending a few nights a week together and still saying 'I love you'.
