Cronulla will play a home game in Adelaide for the next three NRL seasons.
The Sharks will play at Hindmarsh Stadium, the home of A-League soccer club Adelaide United which has a capacity of 16,500 people.
Sharks chief executive Tony Zappia said the first match in Adelaide would be on the weekend of April 17-20 next year against North Queensland.
"We're certainly excited about making Adelaide a second home," Zappia said on Friday.
NRL chief operating officer Graham Annesley said he hoped the fixtures would be the start of a long-term relationship between the NRL and the South Australian capital.

That's ok news i suppose, contributing to the expansion of the game, our home crowds, no matter how you spin it, aren't particually good so i doubt it will hurt us very much.

Any finances involved?

hmm

its school holidays again i see.

yeah i dont like this. we own our ground and have taken a game away from it.

how much more revenue will we be getting with the adelaide game?

decreases club game day revenue. bit of an odd decision from Zapps. the finances must be good.

Zappia says he's excited about making Adelaide a 2nd home...ffs how about making the existing supporters excited. One less home game for our loyal members. I think we are the lowest priority of this club.

I suppose this means the season seats will remain at the same price, only we'll get 11 home games instead of 12. Effectively a price increase.

More than likely, if they were smart they would organise a travel pack for the weekend for sharks members.
